We restored a circa 1745 cape in Ma. and we lived in it for 28 years. I am now in Mo. as my son and his wife are here. I miss NE and our memberships at OSV and Historic Deerfield we had all those years. Thank you for renewing my memories.
Linda thank you for taking me along to that beautiful little town in New England. I am so ready to venture out since we’ve been in all winter. We live in the south and chances of us venturing that far north isn’t in our plans. Love reading about the New England history and seeing it in “person” makes it so much more meaningful. Such beautiful plants. Can’t wait to see them in your flower garden.

Really simple and beautiful arrangements. What a great way to enjoy these flowers inside and outside..and you choose what you want when it's plentiful and it is on hand to transfer outdoors as soon as conditions allow. That was a truly beautiful shot at the end of the snow coming down against a darkened window.

Like yourself, the home and garden are where my creative heart lies. I wish I were physically more capable of doing what I see you and women in their twenties and thirties doing on TH-cam! They truly are amazing as are you! The seashore is where I restore my soul. I can’t quite explain why that is so but it IS my truth. Recently I saw an article in a local newspaper article about someone entering Market Square in Portsmouth, NH, my home, talking about potential ‘improvements’! 😮This sort of speculation always fills me with dread because it must be considered the main reason locals and visitors LOVE Portsmouth is exactly for the things that have NOT CHANGED ( architecture especially ) and still reflect the town’s history. Why don’t some people understand this reality?!

Watching your videos always seems so calming for me. I live just a town away from Concord and spend a day now and again doing just what you did. It's my favorite town and since I was very young always dreamed what it would be like to live there. Years ago one of the old homes was for sale on the main road a few houses down from the center. Looking back, it kills me for the amount it sold for compared to what it would be now to own. The Colonial Inn is many times a request of mine for lunch with a friend or a birthday dinner. Thank you for inspiring me to get my "Spring is in the air". attitude going. I used old work boots that had belonged to my dad as a flower pot, but they disintegrated over time but love the little boots with the frog inside idea. Now I am on a mission to find a sweet small pair like yours. Sending much love and admiration!

You can take your flowers and hang them upside down, they will dry out and you could put behind in a glass Frame or just use as pourpri....gwen
