This is very exciting stuff, can't wait to have the time to binge all the content coming out! We seem to be at the beginning of a Renaissance of archeological and adjacent content here on TH-cam and I thank you for your role Flint!
Knowing how we know what we know is fascinating. I bet a 30 minute show showing this for one artefact or site would go down well, especially if you slightly dramatize the puzzles and other disciplines helping. Rather than just saying this is a mystery, you get resolution.
Too bad I missed the live stream. I would have answered the second question Flint made with: EVERYTHING we do now will become part of the archeological record eventually. All human activity is part of archaeology. I know this was answered but … yeahhh 🤪
@@veraxiana9993when he mentioned archaeogaming my first thought was evidence of games in the archaeological record, then applying game theory to archaeology somehow. Both were wrong :)
No, I think its egocentric for non professionals to think they know more about a topic than professionals, be it brain surgery or archaeology. Takes a lotta arrogance for people without experience to think they know more than the people with experience

What is your definition of real archeology? And do you think saying if someone’s studies are real or pseudo comes off as egocentric?
