As much as i LOVE the first 25 issues of Fantastic Four..i gotta say that the later issues with Jack Kirby pencils & Joe Sinnot inks were the BEST issues in Fantastic Four history!
Johnny and Sue have a cousin who owns a circus and is like 7 feet tall! I can't believe no one else has brought him back. Does his circus compete with the Circus of Crime? The gangsters do the imagine spots that were in earlier issues where each FF member would imagine how they would handle something. Just by reading this issue, I would have thought the Thinker would be one and done like Miracle Man, since he's such an ahem cerebral villain, but I guess Kirby and Lee saw his potential.
The great Alex Toth, who co-created Space Ghost, did the designs for the H-B FF cartoon. Paul Frees was a top-notch voice actor, my all-time favorite. He could actually do multiple voices and converse among himself, which he did in the Rankin-Bass specials.

People seldom make the connection between the mad thinker and laplaces demon, worth checking though!

I love your comparison between some elements of this story and Kirby’s later creations for his Fourth World stories only a few years later.

I'm amazed at how often organ grinder's monkeys appear in early Marvel Comics.
Back then they were allowed to use monkeys now you would have animal rights people trying to stop you.
