I mean allready flip 6 is more powerfull, but nothing beats a proper subwoofer. This little speaker (JBL Flip 5) is meant to play well music and be really portable, so yes you can beat flip 5 easily with desk speakrs, price/power. PS: If you wanna have fun put your speaker in washing machine, don't turn on the washing machine but just to make it sound more bassy, also don't close the door all the way, leave it just a little open
