- Skinny Pimp stopped by Hot 1079 to chop it up with B High about his recent remake of his southern classic "Midnight H@#s". During the conversation Skinny talked about early in his career working with DJ Squeeky and 36 Mafia, as well as working with a young Yo Gotti and Pimp C.

Man I swear B High be having the best interviews!!!!!! He ask the right questions without doing too much. Salute to him!!
Right. Most interviewers talk about themselves half the time trying to be cool / interesting and trying to get a little fame off the interview themselves . I hate that. B doesn't talk about himself he conducts a proper interview.
lol hell no
Facts!
Was thinking the same thing hes on point
Great job all the way around
This man right here is one of the reasons that I still listen to rap and will until the day I die. King of the Playaz Ball was one of the best albums ever made, period.

One Life 2 Live is one of my favourite songs ever. It's literally one of the most perfect songs ever. Beginning to end.
Skinny was the coldest cat back in the day real M-town legend. I still remember the song shake junt when I was in elementary and I'm 36 now.

That "2000 Rap Dope Game" was some hard ass shit!!!
Bruh legendary times wtf. This is crazy but I love it so much... Thank you SP for sharing man, as a Memphis fan crazy to here that there was beef between what we now know look at as the pioneers of the sound, but makes sense why they were coming so hard on the tracks. Shout out B High as well.
"nigga, give us thirty dollars!" lmfao!
this the 3rd good interview ive seen of B High.....i gotta go ahead and sub! Keep putting out that good work!
I knew you guys listened to Nip and Point Blank. In fact, Playa Fly has a chorus to one of his songs that is taken straight from a Point Blank track. I like the Playa Fly version much better, but it came from a Point Blank song, or maybe just a Point Blank verse... not sure exactly...
"The situations critical, everyone lookin' pityful, it ain't what you're saying when you dissin', it's the principle, some people say I'm crazy, I ain't crazy, I'm just ignorant, and I don't get the props that I deserve because I'm loco (local?)" or something like that....
When I heard Point Blank say that on a track, I almost fell over. This video is basically all the proof I need. Thanks Skinny Pimp!
K-Rino is my favorite outta that bunch of Houston artists.

Cool interview skinny pimp is a legend
skinny is still the shit one of the kings of memphis real talk
This is an incredible interview. Very, very good interview questions. I am so impressed with these Memphis rapper interviews (I've only seen one, other than lord infamous fucked up), but these are incredible questions. Reminds me of Nardwuar almost , without the craziness; like these dudes know the scene and they fucking ask really good questions. I've seen so many stupid interviews where the interviewer didn't research the artist, but you can tell this interviewer very much knows the scene, and is asking great questions. Also, you can tell Skinny Pimp is very comfortable in this interview, and that's also a really great talent of an interviewer. Big ups to this channel (just found it), big ups to Skinny Pimp, and big ups to Memphis 90s in general; So ahead of their time.
Skinny but dangerous was dope too
Skinny Pimp is 1 of my favorite artist he kinda influenced my style i had all his cds slapping up here in Kansas City Kansas since the mid to late 90's
