No offense guys but we need a DJ Paul / Juicy J interview from true blue hardcore 36 mafia fan. There's so many questions that could've been asked that the real old fans are dying to know ... the samples they use, old beefs , Playa Fly, .. these guys did good but the was a few awkward moments and dull parts on interviewers behalf. Average questions , guys knew nothing about 36 obviously . No connection be happy that Paul is humble and super nice cause he saved this interview. They just asked basic average interview questions basic research . I give them props for hanging the whole 1:30:00 but would have liked to seen more
you got fucking DJ Paul.!!! tbh this is the first no jumper i watch but i listen everyday. Your podcasts make my day a little less shitty so thanks man.
Josh Melton i think tommy lying lol. he always been 2 faced n lying but i always respected him for influencing a whole generation n being an og from memphis
That Guy whom Pual wouldn't mentioned as the first person who influenced him here in Memphis is..... Patrick Hall better known as "Gangsta Pat" I don't know why they still holding grudges man they are two of my Idols Memphis here in Memphis it's time to let that s*** go!!!
You could call him a tweaker or druggy, but he is one of the smartest artist ever, 90% of the artist that were popular during there time are dirt poor much less as recognized as him and juicy j
J Green had to take over a few times and ask the shit we wanna hear. Paul is always entertaining, but they could have asked him some real shit that's on the minds of most real fans.
Not hating at all but it sucks that dj Paul or any other underground Memphis figure can't get interviewed by someone who knows all the underground tapes that came out and all the little stories/beefs and shit I wish I can interview them one day I'd be on top of it. This is a great podcast though.
we need interviews from hella underground memphis ogs like dj sound, lil grimm, a bunch of artists n producers. im waiting for the day someone interviews all them playas
Ya B-High does good interviews but yeah it would take a real underground head with a decent platform to get in depth interviews. Shit I thought the J-Green interview on this podcast could have been better..like it was all about the Schemaposse shit but J-Green had a whole long history before that, like three six influenced production, working with T-Rock & Rock solid ect..
Man I can't put into words how much I appreciate Y'ALL appreciating Three 6 Mafia. They have never gotten the credit they deserve even though they still managed to win an oscar and go multi platinum.
Being someone who loves both metal and rap equally, one major difference I see between the fans is how they treat past artists/bands. Metal fans, in general, always seem quick to recognize the greats from the past regardless of if they are into them or not. I really wish that young rappers payed their respects to the old rappers more often. Groups like three 6, for example, paved the way for them with their influence. If anything I see wayyyyy more disrespect and it saddens me. You don't have to "like" something to respect it. Educate yourself on the history of the music you make/love and show love where it is due.
Adam I so wish I was there brother! I remember 36mafia showing up in the south.. they changed the game rap wise not only in the south but from east too west. we all grew up with rap no matter nautically where we came from from the 80’s on till 2000 was progression however 36, cypress hill”bReal” beats and rhythm and lyrics went beyond all!
Damn this interview was amazing props robes and adam. My fav interview on this channel has always been the Gangsta Boo interview, even w my dislike of catfish as a co host it went phenomenal. This reminds me of that one.
This is fucking lit. we used to bump all his old tapes and shit, all the undergrounds. Paul was always a mysterious guy to me. This was fucking awesome. mad love.

came to watch this after the three six verzuz saluting young dolph RIP, man hearing DJ paul talking about how rappers in memphis never get along and have a hard time supporting each other hits home now after seeing young dolph gunned down for the second time. he wasnt lying. dj paul is a real legend though, and damn he interviews so well, I want to see him sit down and shoot the shit more
