I really wish I could support all the videos that I Have stage 5 kidney failure it's called end of life so I'm on disability. But honestly all I do is watch TH-cam videos

Hi Geoffs, like you, I love to watch TH-cam videos. Pluto TV is also good. Regular TV these days is so stressful and boring at the same time and these videos are very relaxing. I also have some liver and kidney issues, care of long Covid. My Doc doesn’t seem to worry about it, even though my microalb/Creat level is 109, so, I’m treating them myself with Turmeric Curcumin, Milk Thistle, Vitamin D3, and Quercetin. To be safe, I take these separately from the few pharmaceuticals I also take. So far, so good, I’m feeling better, getting more energy as time goes on. Working in the yard, getting some exercise but not overdoing it. Best wishes Geoffs on your healing journey.

Great video, Sam! I came across a cemetery on a recent camping trip out in the woods that was overgrown badly with vines and weeds. I thought about doing a future video camping there and cleaning it up. It was all the same family name on each stone and all passed away in 1911 and 1912. Nearby was remnants of an old home and all that was left standing was a chimney on both ends that had fireplaces on both the first and second floors. It was very interesting.

I hope people will hang out in whatever cemetery I reside. I've visited many, many cemeteries and spent amounts of time hanging out. I've found some awesome, ollllld, forgotten cemeteries here in Missouri. I've tripped acid in them and felt some sort of connection to people I've never known. I'm not religious, and not necessarily even spiritual really...but I wholeheartedly believe in what we call nature...life...and symbiosis. I believe in memory, and energy, and feeling. I would prefer not to be buried trapped in a box. I want my mortal coil to decompose, fertilize, and give life to something new. People who say you're disrespecting a cemetery don't understand that you are in a sense honoring it and the people forever resting there. You keep doing you Sam!

I used to live tight next to a graveyard. I would agree that there is nothing wrong with giving the dead some company. I would often go into the graveyard in the wee hours with a drink and just chat away. I found it very peaceful!

I do like the idea of having a tarp over the tent. I was in a leaker a couple times. Well worth the effort to throw up a tarp over the tent and you probably won't get wet. Appreciate your videos.

When you said “One of these days, I’ll learn how to camp”. I thought, he knows how to camp. He just needs to learn how to cook lol. I think the dexterity needed to create content and control a fire are often overlooked. Lots of distractions I’ll bet! Thanks for keeping it real, which I think is a major attraction for your videos.

Another great video people go visit cemeteries all the times yes not many people sleep in one but this thing is out in the woods. Loved the new mini machete u used. I know it was most likely to cold but a hot tent camp in the blizzard would have been cool but also could have been dangerous also. Stay safe and hunker down

This was the most surreal thing to have randomly come across my random TH-cam video suggestions, I was literally planning a stealth camping trip to this exact graveyard and I got so mad that not only does someone else know about my favorite secret spot, they already beat me to the punch AND made a nice youtube video about it 😆

Sam when I was little I used to build forts and lean to's in the woods I'm quite sure that's one reason I love watching your channel nowadays I have a minivan no-build I still camp alot but feel safer and more comfortable inside of my van and to be honest with you I wouldn't even camp at an old cemetery in my van 😂 you are a brave man Sam if not Bananas...😂 Was great to see you out there enjoying yourself Sam thank you so much for sharing !💯💯

I worked within and then managed a cemetery/crematorium complex for 35 years. I lived in a office/residence home on site for over 20 years. Never seen a ghost or other spooky thing. Had to move-on a few tippsy people who thought it was good space for a bit of spooky midnight intercourse 🙂Cheers man.

Good tip for cooking meat on a open fire brown the meat on the fire first then wrap it in tinfoil and cook it the rest of the way on the fire stops from burning can do veggies in foil with butter to

When it's raining my solution to not having a space inside the tent for my backpack, I put my bag inside the trash bag o a very thick plastic bag and use a clip or tie it to close it. 😊

Hahaha it's actually my second time in this spot. First time I was way more scared.
Any pork I’d always just bring a small container of bbq sauce or whatever you prefer. Just to be safe you almost always have to cook it kind of dry. Especially out in the woods if you were to get sick with no help. Keep it up brother man, found you before the Steve Wallis collaboration. I enjoy the rain videos.🎉🎉🎉. No issues to camp in a cemetery if you’re not on top of graves but near the sites which I believe you never would. They’re just trolls.

Abandoned is sad-no one left to mourn them. It’s actually all of our future in a camping video. It only takes a few generations for us to become an old photo among grandma’s things no one knows. I have many photos from my grandmother and mother’s collections of distant relatives no living family member can identify. I think it was actually very respectful to be there and provide a remembrance. I think I would enjoy a friendly camper stopping by if it were me beneath the dirt. Thanks, Sam!

Glad to see it raining , good video , I wish I was able to go camping myself , but at least I can watch and dream 👍🖖🙏 , waiting for the next one , and of course I hope it’s raining , ps, I hope your planning on up grading your equipment, or at least protecting yourself against things in the night ! In the army we had things called p.e.w.s (Personnel Early Warning System) basically trip wire hooked up to a noise maker , there are nuts out there !

Another good video. That looks relaxing smoking a pipe and hearing the rain. I learned how to camp in the rain and how to burn the meat. Try making something easier like chipped ham bbq on a good roll. Or hot soup or chili in a thermos. It's a lot more fun if the food is excellent.

When I was in Duluth back in 83 I heard tales of a beer called "Grain Belt." Apparently, it was a staple for the midwest until the brewery closed in 75. I would have enjoyed drinking it - just to see what it was like (i.e, when in rome). Have you ever heard of Grain Belt Sam? Nice loc tonight - thanks for you work
