So...it recently occurred to me that the majority of my plant babies have been rocking their new world for 6 or so weeks and most of them are just not thriving. It was time to roll up my sleeves and figure out what went wrong because this just can't go on. In the weeks since I planted my first seeds, I have come to understand sooooooo much as a first-time gardener and somewhat wish I'd learned all of this before I ventured down this road, but we are where we are and I'm good with it. Now it's time to work on solutions. Wish my all the luck.

You're definitely on the right track with fertilizing. With having them in raised beds, they will need weekly nutrients that they can't get from being planted directly in the ground. I think you're doing great, and your positive attitude makes all the difference. Love your garden!

Add some bonemeal and blood meal to your tomatoes, they love that stuff. When your tomato plants start to get full thing out some of the leaves so that you can create airflow and you should be OK.

Hey there, tomatos belong to the night shade family and they do not need full sun, they need warm days and nights.. if tomatos get to much sun, they can get sunburn. If you water, water in the morning , so the leafs can dry up. Liguid plantfood is good once a week. At the start zuccini make only male flowers. And they fall off. You can thin out but do it later, than you can eat the baby carrots. I been gardening for a long time.. I use sheepwool as plantfood and to safe water and safe eggshalls and grind them up and mix it in the tomato growmix. Helps against flowerendrott. If you are in a hot part of the world, its not so bad to have some shade on your plants. Happy gardening. ❤

I definitely have heaps to learn, but I’m thrilled to know that some of my mistakes are actually beneficial for my plants’ wellbeing. One last tip…I have clay soil, and what I have done is I have been burying my kitchen scraps vegetable randomly in my yard, and if you were to dig you will find earthworms 🪱 all over the flowerbeds so much so, anything I plant of throw out there takes off! Things I didn’t intend germinate. Last year I had so many tomatoes ceilings that I ended up donating to school garden to raise $$$ for student supplies!
FYI, I see your videos and you do a lots of juicing take all of the pubes from your juicing. If don’t have enough or you don’t feel like going out there and digging a hole and burying it just put it in the freezer until you’re ready to bury it. That’s what I do.

I do molasses 1 tbsp to a gallon of water. However you want to get the darkest masses!
Do you use that recipe as a fertilizer for all plants?

Not a mistake! Don't move the beds. I have to put shade cloth on my tomatoes in the summer or they will die. We also over head water, you are right as long as there is air flow they will be fine

Ah! I totally forgot to mention that. I thought I was zone 8b, but apparently that changed in 2023, so now I’m 9a-9b.
