Storm has an extremely in depth video series on the vls system. It's easily the most in depth info you're going to get.
If you're just looking for an overview of what the numbers are and how to layout a ball check spectre bowling softwares videos. Mark Buffa has really good explanations.

Not sure how you guys see it, but to me the Motiv EJ Venom hooks more, hits harder, and is better looking. I have Motiv balls but I am not an exclusive Motiv guy. I have Brunswick, Storm, etc. But this ball looks darn good. In the interest of being honest, the first ball out of my bag in league play these days is my trusty Ghost Jackal. No, it's not a 7 year old ball, haha. I had one drilled just about a month ago. All I can say is that the Jackal gives me tons of power plus amazing controllability. I would love a comparison between the Jackal Ghost ad the EJ Venom. Luis, I know you are a huge Ghost Jackal fan too, so you know what I am talking about.

Ion Pro vs. Scorpion Low flare

What do you recommend for something on house shot. After league for open bowling?
My physix goes out right but doesn’t recover.
Do I want surface or a weaker ball?
I’m 2 handed with a 450 rev rate roughly.

2 handed and that rev rate...go with a weaker ball. 2 handers don't need surface equipment unless they throwing on a sport shot imo

I’m about 450-475 normally.

Cross company comparisons are great but instead of reviewing two companies, I'd personally reviewing the 3 majors. Pick a ball from SPI, Motive and Brunswick. Example: Hyper Venom, Beyond Infinity and Harsh Reality Pearl... or Three Hybrids or three solids and keep the balls at or near the same diff so that you can make true comparisons on surface.
