Glad to see I'm not the only one that has difficulty engaging the cruise control.

Yes my first attempt was a failure. It works differently to my other bikes. Still doesn't seem natural.

the information elements on the gauge are nicely arranged. Nice instrumentation makes a difference!

Yes so clear and easy to read in all light conditions even direct sun on the dash. Probably the clearest and easiest to read dash I've ever experienced on a bike.

I see that you actually let go of the accelerator handle for the cruise control to stabilize. But then you put your hand back to the accelerator handle. Did you just lightly touch the accelerator handle? Mine seems t be too sensitive as to turn off the cruise control.

That was the first time I used it and stuffed it the first time because it activates differently to my other bike with cruise control. I tried to push it in which was wrong. Since then I have noticed if you go over a big enough bump with your hand on the accelerator handle it can turn off. So yes it is very sensitive.

Unrelated question, if you don't mind...
How do you find the visibility of that style of digital dash in direct sunlight?

It's very clear and easy to read and doesn't seem to be affected at all by direct sunlight unlike the dash on the Honda CB650R, CB500x etc which is terrible in sunlight.
