Northumberland is possibly the most stunning county in England and there is so much to do there. The beaches are to die for! As a full-time vanlifer, I've spent a lot of time there, so urge you to please give it another go.
We would probably give it another go when we are back from overseas but tbh they are restricting parking everywhere there and the rates for campsites are an absolute joke that's the most thing what puts us off

We visited York and had a very full on day. Lots to do. A walk round most.of the city walls. Climb up to the roof of the cathedral. The little castle on the mound. The amazing museum.

Guys take the boat over to the North of Ireland, you enjoyed the South, the scenery is amazing and if you wanted you could cross the border and see Sligo and Mayo as well.

For York you could have walked on top of the city wall, you see some back gardens of old mansion houses. Also where you got off the park and ride bus in York, you were a short walk from Dick Turpin’s grave, the highwayman. And the National railway museum, even if you’re not into trains, it’s spectacular. But it’s not for everyone. Can’t wait to see your next chapter, nothing ventured nothing gained. @@Steps2adventure jeez, could be too much excitement all at once, pace yourselves, I’ve just about finished my sprinter conversion, it can be used now, but needs hot water, and the shower cubicle tanking and a shower fitting. Going to start using it as it is. Don’t want to spend loads on campsites, Will sound daft to you but it’s a bit scary setting off to park up somewhere, when you’ve never done it. I met you two near Ambleside in the Lakes last year and it has been great following your progress. Congrats on being able to give up on your full-time jobs! Don’t realise you were doing these videos on your days off! No wonder it was stressful. I’m coming to the end of an amazing 3 month trip in France and have been amazed how easy it is here. Yes that’s right, I was a bit wet behind the ears back then! Heading back to the UK from the Alps next week unfortunately, only paid for 2 weeks on camp sites in 3 months, and those were by choice. I need to work out how I could move out here! I’ll probably try North Devon for a while and then Cornwall again like last year. Good luck with the Lakes, I found it quite tricky but you seem to have some cool spots tucked up your sleeves! Enjoy!
When i was in my van i spent most of my time sticking around the south coast, i liked it so much i was there for over two yrs - couldn't go too far as COVID if the area, but when you wake up in the morning the sound of the sea and while coast-line, i could stick around the sea and the views and the people were really friendly - woke to a knock on the door to the garage owner with a bacon butty and a coffee.. Some people are really friendly.
Guys remember self care and self love and loving yourself is the most essential and important thing ever. Last year I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, which I’d been experiencing for some time but ignored it due to working away constantly Monday to Friday with no help from my employer.things got to much and I was put on medication then in January resigned from my job for a career change. I have no family and only a couple of friends in the very small village where I live on the border of east Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Your an amazing couple and have a beautiful van your an inspiration to a logon TH-cam ( me included) . Having a bad day is natural in life but you have each other and lily, and you seem like you bounce off each other and a very compatible in personality and love either way the love of travelling and exploring. Looking forward to seeing the new van, I’m looking to buy one but I can only drive auto so it’s a challenge trying to find a decent one. Stay safe stay strong and keep replacing bad with things you enjoy and give lily a hug for me ❤

It wasn't really for us but tbh we are not really a huge fan of the UK we prefer being overseas but Edinburgh is lovely during Christmas or when it's snowing 😊

Good luck doing this full-time You'll be fine I'm sure. Not sure if you have been, but next time your in Scotland do the Hermitage trail, aim for next month or October. Colours of the trees will be amazing and the Pine cone view point is amazing. Also further up towards Stonehaven there is Dunnottar castle, possibly the best castle you'll ever see. Drone footage there would be superb

You’ve missed a trick in Northumberland, Alnwick isn’t true Northumberland, although very nice town with the castle etc you need to be on the coast, Craster, Newton, and up to bamburgh and further north

It's pronounced Annick. It only took two visits before anyone told us. A ticket for the castle lasts a year. The Alnwick gardens are great next door. No filming in the castle though, only outdoors which was disappointing to us. You could have gone to Craster where the fish smokery and a castle is. It's near Alnwick. Fish and chips are expensive in Alnwick but they have lots of different flavours of icecream. I think it's called Carlos.

I met you two near Ambleside in the Lakes last year and it has been great following your progress. Congrats on being able to give up on your full-time jobs! Don’t realise you were doing these videos on your days off! No wonder it was stressful. I’m coming to the end of an amazing 3 month trip in France and have been amazed how easy it is here. But we have to do the best with what we are given in the UK at the moment I guess. Good luck with full-time content creation 🎉

Yes that’s right, I was a bit wet behind the ears back then! Heading back to the UK from the Alps next week unfortunately, only paid for 2 weeks on camp sites in 3 months, and those were by choice. I need to work out how I could move out here! I’ll probably try North Devon for a while and then Cornwall again like last year. Good luck with the Lakes, I found it quite tricky but you seem to have some cool spots tucked up your sleeves! Enjoy!

When i was in my van i spent most of my time sticking around the south coast, i liked it so much i was there for over two yrs - couldn't go too far as COVID if the area, but when you wake up in the morning the sound of the sea and while coast-line, i could stick around the sea and the views and the people were really friendly - woke to a knock on the door to the garage owner with a bacon butty and a coffee.. Some people are really friendly.
Guys remember self care and self love and loving yourself is the most essential and important thing ever. Last year I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, which I’d been experiencing for some time but ignored it due to working away constantly Monday to Friday with no help from my employer.things got to much and I was put on medication then in January resigned from my job for a career change. I have no family and only a couple of friends in the very small village where I live on the border of east Lancashire and West Yorkshire. Your an amazing couple and have a beautiful van your an inspiration to a logon TH-cam ( me included) . Having a bad day is natural in life but you have each other and lily, and you seem like you bounce off each other and a very compatible in personality and love either way the love of travelling and exploring. Looking forward to seeing the new van, I’m looking to buy one but I can only drive auto so it’s a challenge trying to find a decent one. Stay safe stay strong and keep replacing bad with things you enjoy and give lily a hug for me ❤

It wasn't really for us but tbh we are not really a huge fan of the UK we prefer being overseas but Edinburgh is lovely during Christmas or when it's snowing 😊

Good luck doing this full-time You'll be fine I'm sure. Not sure if you have been, but next time your in Scotland do the Hermitage trail, aim for next month or October. Colours of the trees will be amazing and the Pine cone view point is amazing. Also further up towards Stonehaven there is Dunnottar castle, possibly the best castle you'll ever see. Drone footage there would be superb

You’ve missed a trick in Northumberland, Alnwick isn’t true Northumberland, although very nice town with the castle etc you need to be on the coast, Craster, Newton, and up to bamburgh and further north
We have done bamburgh but they have out bollards in on the coast to stop campervans it's just not worth the waste of fuel much easier overseas

It's pronounced Annick. It only took two visits before anyone told us. A ticket for the castle lasts a year. The Alnwick gardens are great next door. No filming in the castle though, only outdoors which was disappointing to us. You could have gone to Craster where the fish smokery and a castle is. It's near Alnwick. Fish and chips are expensive in Alnwick but they have lots of different flavours of icecream. I think it's called Carlos.
