BACKGROUND STORY
We are steps2adventure, better known as Jordan & Annalise. We created the steps2adventure brand to inspire people to explore what the outdoors has to offer. Back in 2019 we always knew we wanted to travel, we were planning backpacking trips, train journeys.. you name it. Thankfully we came across the van life TH-camrs! As soon as we saw this way of life we knew this was it, this is how we want to live and travel. So, we bought a van… Not just any van, she’s a 2007 LWB Mercedes sprinter van, an absolute beast!! We have spent over 2 years converting her in-between work and some little adventures across the UK.

21:15 the dog thing, Irish people have dogs but they don’t love them the same way English do. Also a lot of dog owners here don’t pick up their dog shite so beaches, parks, paths etc were/are constantly covered in it.

Ooooooo there was tones of jellyfish on one of the beaches when we was over there wouldn't have liked a sting 🤣🤣

I know you kept saying limited time but flip me Mizen head , ring of Kerry and Galway in one vlog. You are missing so much. We are just back from a week in dingle and still feel need to go back. Not sure how far behind these are but need to climb Croagh Patrick, visit Westport and Achill Isalnd, if pushed for time maybe on another start in Northern Ireland (were I am from) do causeway coast and on to Donegal
It’s only a quick trip, we will be spending a lot more time in Ireland soon. We are still working full time until October so we were just using some holidays from work 🙌🏽

From Kinsale to Cove Beach, there are many beautiful destinations in West Cork, that have been overlooked. But otherwise a nice video.

You will usually find a water tap at fishing piers. For rinsing salt from equipment etc. Not guaranteed but very common.
We have found them at nearly every pier 😂 it's brilliant 💯👌

I found the best place for allowing dogs is the Cairngorms in Scotland. Even the shops generally allow dogs in
Yeah the cairngorms is great for it we use to always go up that way it's great for vanlife however the weather's shocking 🤣

You should go to Mannin Bay in Ballyconneely which is close to pine island, theres open space there for campers or down to Glassilaun beach if you are going towards Westport. If you have time to go to Achill Island, Keem Bay or Doogort beach are lovely. If you have more time again to continue up through Co. Mayo - Dún Bríste sea stack is beautiful!!! Enjoy your travels here, so nice to watch you go to our local spots and love them as much as we do :)
It's unreal over there we are doing basically the full wild Atlantic Way but we are on a dead line so having to b line it through everywhere 😂 we will be back for much longer next time 16 days just isn't enough time 😂😂

Greeennnnn they are !!! In fact , look closely and you'll see many are still from the time of Irish Independence, with VR markings on them !!! As for Dublin, don't give up on it, it has its problems but it's got some great Gems worth a visit! If you need a good park up in Dublin, make contact, we can sort you with a safe spot , with a cracking view !

@Steps2adventure used to fish it for the bream every year with my dad many years ago...kind of following in his footsteps with van life many happy childhood memories of UK trips in the van with mum n dad. Got Scotland planned in as well👍 You said in your film that you did no planning for this trip,have you preferred it this way or wish you had sorted places to go? Can't wait to get on that West Coast next year👍👍👍

One of the worst jobs making hay is raking it up. Blisters guaranteed. Raking machines were invented around the same time as mowing machines (mid 1800s).

Thanks so much! We use it quite often to be honest, we just never film it because it’s chaos in the van 😂😂 it’s definitely worth it, we use it to store wet towels, bin bags etc xx
Driving all around the countryside in my little camper with my dog I always liked seeing all the young calves,lambs chicks piglets etc and the love between them and their mothers.It always warmed my heart and made me smile.They are taken after a few weeks and forced into slaughterhouses so i can have burgers kebabs dippers and breakfast sandwiches.They want to live but have no voice.Thats why I went vegan.Vegans are a voice for them.Their life is worth more than my plate.Im not preaching,its just my story,I ate meat for 40 odd tears before realizing I was the reason for the slaughter.❤👍
Annalise was vegetarian for a while and so was I but after about 8 month all our vitamin levels whrre low and we just felt so tired all the time now we just eat a healthy balance between meat fish and vegaterian options 😊 I have alot of friends that are vegan they seem to do fine with it

In your opinion, other than the engine gearbox and mechanical side of things, what would you recommend to look out for when buying a camper van?
I would say go for rear wheel drive as yiu get a better turning circle on the van easier to work on pre 2010 sprinters are good but after that they went to euro 5 which is not as reliable I would go towards getting a solid base vehicle and adding good tech inside like plenty of lithium battery power good solar setup large fridge freezer easy refill gas that's what I would go for and also look for campervans that have external wiring nothing stuck behind panels so things can be easily chabge and added to that's mostly what I would go for however sounds daft but the older the better when it comes from maintenance perspective something easy to work on like an older Ford transit rear wheel drive or Mercedes or Renault master iveco daily fiat ducato anything along them lines

Hi so we use the Dell inspiron 16 plus with the 3k screen it has a DDR5 34gb ram Intel I 7 with a geforce RTX 3060 graphics 4.7ghz speed however I'd say this is bare minimum sped for editing 4k footage we are getting two new ones soon apple mac book pro and a dell xps 17
