This week we are changing things up, as we are heading to Spain the van is in need of a bit of a revamp! WE ARE SICK OF THE GREY.
If you remember when we first converted the van it was all originally white, I don't know why we ever changed it.
We are also adding CCTV cameras and extra lights on the outside of the van.

BACKGROUND STORY
We are steps2adventure, better known as Jordan & Annalise. We created the steps2adventure brand to inspire people to explore what the outdoors has to offer. Back in 2019 we always knew we wanted to travel, we were planning backpacking trips, train journeys.. you name it. Thankfully we came across the van life TH-camrs! As soon as we saw this way of life we knew this was it, this is how we want to live and travel. So, we bought a van… Not just any van, she’s a 2007 LWB Mercedes sprinter van, an absolute beast!! We have spent over 2 years converting her in-between work and some little adventures across the UK.

Ahah we wanted to do that but we done the upgrades on a budget as we are going to be ripping it all out when we are home ahaha
White makes the interior so much brighter, so dead practical. Looks better too. And the lights/cameras are ace additions 😀👍

New rims look fantastic and the little jumper box is a great bit of kit, white looks pretty good but reckon a magnolia or peach roof would look cool, little tip next time you paint use a sponge roller for a sweet finish

Them wheels look the nuts guys. Honestly feel your pain with sikaflex the smallest bit somehow manages to cover you head to toe and it takes a month to get it off like what’s that all about. 🤣

Love the new interior look. White is so much better and combined with the new reupholstered cushions you have nailed it. The new wheels give it a harder more purposeful look while saving weight on each corner. That new security system looks goods. In fact you may need to try it out at the old dogging spot 🤣🤣🤣. Loving all the preparation the van looks well mint again and that added security will give you piece of mind too can you use those cameras with a phone app to view the cameras when your out of the van Jordan 🤔
Yeah definitely, it's so annoying only having one window in the van, we can nosey outside now whilst we're in bed haha! No they don't connect to our phone but we have a screen in the van
we do have a camera on the inside we use for Lilly that we can see on our phones
The van is looking great and the new wheels are a massive transformation 😍 i did like the grey as it can hide the dirt more where as white will highlight any dirt, but it's your van and you need to do what you want and like 👍 Those camera's and lights will be good at helping you spot all them dirty doggers 😂😂

Trouble with stapling the material on you can’t wash it unless there’s a DIY dry cleaning method looking good though
Yeah, to be honest it's only temporary. When we rip out the van and re convert it we will probably have them sown properly so they can be washed. This only cost us £25 though so it was a bargain

I had road cruza ra1100 on the last van which are the same company and done over 40k on them there mint 😊
We will be leaving back to the uk in December our 90 days will be done with ahaha
