How to make Easy Pad Thai | Recipe | Savory Tangy Comforting Noodle Dish

- Pad Thai | Sweet, Tangy, and Savory Rice Noodles.
What I luv about Pad Thai is that it hits all of your Taste Buds. It’s Sweet, Tangy, and Savory. The Rice Noodles are so Chewy, Bouncy, and Delicious! Always comforting whenever I get to have this.
Ingredients:
1 Cup of Sliced Fried Tofu
4 Oz of Sliced Chicken
2 Cups of Bean Sprouts
1/2 Cup of Chopped Chives
2 Tbs of Dried Shrimp
1 Tbs of Minced Shallots
1 Tbs of Minced Garlic
2 Eggs
3 Tbs of Vegetable Oil
1/4 of a Cup of Minced Sweet Preserved Radish
8 oz of Pad Thai Rice Noodles (Soak in Water)
Sauce 👇🏻
5 oz of Palm Sugar
2 Tbs of Sugar
1/4 of a Cup of Water
1/4 of a Cup of Fish Sauce
1/2 Cup of Tamarind Concentrate
Instructions:
1. Soak your Pad Thai Rice Noodles.
2. Make your Sauce. In a small pot. Melt your Palm Sugar on Medium High Heat.
- Add water, so it does not burn. Let this dissolve, then add in Fish Sauce and Sugar (measurements listed above).
3. In a Wok or Pan. Sauté your Garlic and Shallots until Fragrant. Then add in your your choice of Proteins.
4. Add in your Pad Thai Noodles and Sauce. Cook for 3-5 Mins. Stir, Toss, and Combine the Sauce in well.
5. Add in Bean Sprouts, Preserved Sweet Radish, and Chives, Combine in well and turn off the Heat.
Topping and Garnishes 👇🏻
*If you want to add more of a Tang! Squeeze a piece of Lime on to your Pad Thai.
*For a extra Crunch. Add Crushed Peanut and Bean Sprouts.
*Sriracha or Dried Chili Powder for some Heat 😮💨🔥👌🏻
On another Note 📝
- Use what you have! Some of the Ingredients may be hard to find. They are available at most Asian Supermarkets.
- If you use Chicken, add a dash of MSG (optional) for an Umami Flavor.
- If you decide not to use Bean Sprouts or Chives. Up the Noodles by 1-3 Ounces or add more Sugar to balance out the taste.
