Congrats, Amanda! I love your dad’s reaction to the light fixture. And a Becky cameo to boot! Also, I think the paint name is White Dove and not Dove White? PLANTS PLANTS PLANTS! They really help make a place feel cozy and homey! That area where you put the lamp on the floor is perfect but also hang some pothos up in macramé hangers in the dining area!

My husband and I got so much inspiration for our own home decoration! My husband has a 3D printer and he's thrilled to try printing lamp shades. And the textures of curtains also is hugely cosy/hyggelig vibes. I'm so happy you have a home that has space for work and "fun"/chillout times. XO Jette

The way i WFM, my first instinct is to make the 2nd bedroom the actual bedroom, away from it all, leave the space from the spinning TV open, and turn the 1st bedroom into my office. i have no idea if it would work for me after living in it, but i want to try it! I want this space type!

About the bathroom situation, you could switch your office and bedroom. That way, you'd have the bath you want. At the end of the day, they are just rooms that can be turned into whatever you want.
The art/tv spinning situation is SO COOL!

This was so interesting to see, thanks Amanda for showing us all the process of decorating. I loved everything you changed except you getting rid of the revolving tv. Oh my god, that was so fabulous and I would have loved that in my own house. I love watching a film on the bed but I unfortunately just don't have space for it in my bedroom and nope, mine is not behind my living room so no way to do it like you had it. All those warm neutral shades you have look lovely combined. I am Mediterranean and like more autumn bolder colours. I would have put a splash of warm red or orange in there already, but I understand not all people like such vivid colours. I do hope you put something really nice on that wall over the couch, it does look kind of empty on the video. You being an artist, maybe you can create something yourself. I look forward to seeing more videos like these.

I have a floor lamp on Etsy that was made by a man in Romania. I love it. Everything in your apartment reminds me of furniture I’ve owned over my lifetime, so I’d say we have the same aesthetic. I still have several things we bought in the 70s, and your table is like one my friend and her husband bought in 1965. Classic.
Love it! SO glad you took out all the built ins and swivel TV. That was my first thought when you showed us to get rid of it. Haha. Looks beautiful!

Absolutely love the new space! And I don't think you should be ashamed at all for how long it has taken to make over your new apartment! I feel like its one of the misconceptions about home renovations is not being able to LIVE in the space and see what you actually need/want. I think you should also check out some elements of Danish Pastel for some fun pops of color. It may be a little softer in color to some of those initial inspiration clips, but still good for inspiration, especially if you want to keep it airy :)

Hi Amanda, I have been a long time fan (almost 4 or 5 years) and I love you and your content. I am so inspired by your videos. I am one of your younger fans as well. I would maybe like to see some more get productive with me’s, and maybe a vid on how to actually again journal, after a long bojo block. Maybe you could do one about how it’s ok to do simple spreads and maybe show an example or two. These are just some ideas, and I hope you have an amazing day/week :) (and everyone who is reading this as well)

no judgement on the christmas tree, ours is basically a whole bunch of tinsel and ornaments wrapped around a chimney flu, and we've kept it up year round for several years now because its so cheerful
