- This video will describe how to decode IBUS packets from a FlySky RC receiver using a PIC microcontroller on the Scamp3 board. This setup can be used to build custom animatronics remote control applications.

Thanks for the clear explanation. IBUS is a much more sensible data format than SBUS.
You are welcome!
Great video! Thanks for sharing the great ideas! You make forth seem so easy, lol
You are so welcome!
Another very interesting video, Ken.
Thanks John
Awesome! Thank you for sharing the enlightening video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Excellent work, thanks! I wasn't sure from the video, was the ibus signal 3.3v or 5v ? My Raspberry Pi Pico RP2040 is not 5v tolerant, apparently.
If the output of your receiver is a 5 volt signal then you need a voltage level converter or a simple voltage divider if you are feeding the data into a microcontroller that is not 5 volt tolerant. In my case the receiver I am using does not have a "rail to rail" output ( check the scope images in the video ) so the voltage levels were ok.
Another Good one... 👍How about an Sbus Decoder...😉

@@0033mer Possible Brain Fart.... Completely forgot about that Video... I even commented on it.
Been there done that too!
For this setup, should I use the PPM or PWM Output mode?
For iBus enable PPM output. th-cam.com/video/KcAqYI3WILk/w-d-xo.html
