I am not at all interested in graphics because I have absolutely zero artistic aptitude. I am learning about them because I must to be able to work with computer programs and simulations. However, I am compelled to stay with you and follow this course. Very good job, very informative. You've caught my attention
Hi Laura, I just found your tutorial. OMG you are awesome. I am very beginner in illustrator. You work and teaching are just what I am looking for. Question, how do I enter this tutorial? Thank you!

i am trying to realize how can a machine can recognize colors. My recollection is that I need to have 3 vectors for each pixel (the RGB code). Is it anyway that having a graph I can find what are these 3 vectors? Thank you very much
hi . can you help? I used a vector from illustrator to design patterns in photoshop but ALL of my designs (many many many designs lol) are now blurry or pixelated. Any idea how ..or if..i can make the images sharper to be good enough to print. I would really really appreciate ANY help.
When you create art in Photoshop (even if it started in Illustrator) your art will be limited by the resolution you set in PS. Unlike working in Illustrator (which is resolution-independent), you can't really go back in PS and increase the resolution without degrading the sharpness. But, in PS, try Image > Image Size and experiment with the different Resample options to see if you can increase the resolution with better results.
Is there an alternative to drawing Vectors with a mouse (Adobe Illustrator) for those who really find it exhausting to go through all these line drawings with the mouse etc. Something like drawing letters, shapes etc. with your real hand pen ( like in the Wacom) and then turn all that into Vector?
You can use a Wacom or other tablet with the desktop version of Illustrator, you are not limited to using a mouse. You can also scan a hand drawing and vectorize it using Image Trace (desktop) or Vectorize (iPad Illustrator).
I'm not sure why, but it just seems to me as though vector art is more appealing to the right hemisphere, and therefor more so with females, and pixels to the left, hence more appealing to males.
Nice pace and the audio alone is soo pleasant to listen to! Thanks

The native filetype for Adobe Illustrator is .ai.
.eps files are compatible with Illustrator and other vector programs as well.
Thanks Vir!

Not that I know of, sorry.
I heard that when printing, for example a logo you shouldn't use vector but pixels instead ?? Why?
It's not true for printing, best to design logos in vector.
