    Hello everyone,
This tutorial is more informative in nature, and comes to answer a question that a lot of artists, like Soodabeh Damavandi aka ‪@Sooodesign‬, get asked a lot of times. Why do they work in vectors when it’s more complicated than working with pixels?
While there is generally no right or wrong way to create your art, there are a lot of uses for vector graphics. For example, Soodabeh is also an icon designer and icons are always vector graphics. For logo design, UX/UI, and especially for anything printed it’s much better to work with vector files because they will look great no matter the size.
Plus, vector graphics can be scaled up to any size without losing quality, they can be edited easily, independently, and infinitely, they are super small in size, and ... so much more. Watch the video for all the benefits, pros, and cons of using vectors in your project.
Soodabeh (@Sooodesign) is a skilled illustrator and icon designer, so we couldn't have collaborated with a better creator for this job. Her style of teaching is very soothing and calming so we hope you enjoy every bit of it.

YES AND YES!!! I'm in love with Vectornator!!! It's simpler than Adobe Illustrator and fully optimized for iOS devices that makes it delightful to use. Wish y'all could add more ways to color, add shadings and more ways to edit gradient besides linear and circle gradients.
Besides these, Vectornator is a pleasure to use. 😘🥰🥰

I owe a coffee to the artist who told me to look into vector graphics if I wanted to design my own logo. I could never do what I’m doing using Procreate.
These free tutorials are so well done, the only feedback I have is to maybe use 1 single finger when showing the 1-finger gestures. The fact this is all free blows my mind.

This videos are great, but they would be even better if the iPad could fill the whole screen instead of leaving all that dead space around it. It is hard to see what is going on on the screen because the iPad screen is too far away from the camera. Other than that, great work!!

Ooo, no I have to disagree a bit 6:20, as a professional & lifelong user of Adobe products, e.g. Illustrator & Photoshop (who's so excited to learn more about Vectornator, truly!!) M A N Y of us have created GINORMOUS Vector files. Hence "FLATTEN file" as an option (*Please only flatten a DUPLICATE of your file or lose the ability to edit ANY of your work.) &/or the options of being able to send files as .png, .jpg., .pdf, etc instead of the native file format it was created in such as .ai for Adobe Illustrator. Vector files can & do become so complex (mathematically speaking) very, very fast, & can be quite taxing on the programs which can (...DO & HAVE) freeze & crash them, as well as on printers. Enormous Vector files are also one of the reasons FTP's were created.

Hi! This is a fantastic point! Thanks for sharing. And you are right. I guess we just wanted to say that pixels are heavier than mathematical formulas
