    Hey I just came across this video. Do you guys have the plans for that bag? I'd really like to make one.

      I never got a patent for the bag so anyone is free to copy it. A local upholstery company makes them for us and anyone else who wants them - He sells them for $30 a bag

    I can't find the sterling safe d triple action carabiner with the KEEP GATE OPEN feature. I bought the same one off of the fire store but doesn't have the keep gate open notch. I was really surprised that it wasn't the exact carabiner you showed in your video. Been doing a lot of research on google but I have not found your exact version of the sterling safe D triple action carabiner. Would you happen to have a web link that you used?

      Sorry Nick - We had the same issue and I didn't correct it in the video - The only carabiner we could find that offers that storage feature is the CMC ProTech Manual Lock with keeper pin (orange in color) - It is listed on CMCs website as Item #300189

      Here's the website www.cmcrescue.com/equipment/protech-aluminum-key-lock-carabiners/ - If you look around you may find it cheaper - We purchased from Bendlin Fire Equipment for about $34.00

    Does anyone out there have any experience with the new Sterling FCX DCD? I'm looking to compare and contract with the Sterling F4.

    How much would one of these kits cost? Either to put together or buy as a whole.

      Zack it all depends on the quality of the system and/or the individual components you purchase. You could put together a very basic system for around a $100. The system shown in this video would cost you around $350 to assemble. On the very high end there are systems that retail for $1,000! - The Deus for example is the most expensive system on the market.

      DALE G. PEKEL Thank You! Is there a website that sells these?

    • @DALEGPEKEL
      @DALEGPEKEL  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not the specific system shown in the video - This is one I created/assembled. You have 2 options; Purchasing a commercially assembled system with specific components OR buying exactly the components you want (as long as they are compatible) and assembling your own system specific to your needs.

      DALE G. PEKEL Would you say it would be better to build your own or buy a pre-built one? Considering safety, cost, and quality.

      Good question Zack - I have different likes and preferences and have never seen one commercially made systems where I liked every one of the components they offered - So I have always chose to build my own. As long as all the components are UL classified, meet the NFPA standards and are compatible with one another there is absolutely nothing wrong with building your own system - It may not make sense, but in many cases you can do it for less money if you shop around. In other words choose the rope you want, the carabiner(s), DCD, Hook and Storage Bag and than start price comparing - Many websites offer free shipping w/o tax so you can't go wrong.

    Hi Dale, I’m really liking the pocket bag and have contacted the company that built them for you several times. Unfortunately, I cannot get ahold of anyone. Can you help out?
