Got these 6 years ago and still have them, they’re awesome, best wedges out there
Awesome! Pretty cool youre on the same department as the inventor...I'll buy one as soon as I learn to stop forgetting my wooden ones at fires lol..Stay safe brother
Well done, he re-invented the triangle ;)
Useful tool. And the first thing ever that a fireman can't break!
Got mine in the mail yesterday and used them the next day on a job. Worked perfectly!!
I'm on rescue and our company bought 16 wedges and I put mine on my helmet tips up. Works great. Thank your chief for me!
ㅎㅎ굿good . This is korea, and i am firefigjter
Well made video as usual. Looks like a great product, may have to recommend to my Lt. that he checks this product out.
i love the product idea and you channel
Just out of curiosity, how did you get your 880 to have the "Bronx bend", when the back lip is all composite? Awesome wedges! Will be buying tonight!
My fav tool love em lighter than wood and my aluminum ones haven’t broken one yet
What might be another nice feature to add is some sort of flasher. That way, the device can be used to mark doors and/or exit points, or the firefighters themselves, and can also be somewhat visible through smoke. Preferably it would have some sort of recognizable flashing pattern.
But, I'm not sure how practical that might be given current technology, because you might not be able to fit a powerful enough battery inside. That really depends on how long you want it to operate for, and how bright it should be. (Plus, you'll probably want it to be rechargeable. But another consideration is the battery design itself. A regular lithium ion or lithium polymer battery might not be suitable for the impact forces that it may receive - don't want this device to start fires!!! XDDD)
Oh, and it might reduce the possible uses of the device - such as for turning off gas service, etc...
that was a cool little thing :D
16:18, when your co-workers are laughing at you.
thanks Dale!! As they say in Russia - dry sleeves! :)
Good piece. We do have wedges made of wood (beech) to lock the doors of the Halligan Tool or pressed others to ASI.
Personally, I would have bought a couple.
wow it well
Great idea. We would like to get a copy of this video in HD for our Digital Signage screens.
I like to use Cherry Bombers, Nails is Fat Ivan’s as a door chalk. But for entry the wedge is to go, not a big fan of it as a chalk but rather to supplement my axe so I don’t kill anyone or go through a floor on an inward swinging.
А если поставить металлический тросик вместо паракорда, то можно будет делать в дверях и окнах точку для страховочной верёвки при экстренной эвакуации.
great solutions ;)
I WANT SOME WHERE CAN I FIND THEM THOSE WOULD A GREAT TOOL FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED FOLKS
so not on amazon that sucks.
Tell him to make an iPhone case from that material!!!!!
hey buddy whats the cost????
Isn't it cheating just a little bit to put in the vise the other way around? Also you have the wood one in about 1 inch. Where as the other one was in much further.
Do you put the cord on the ones on your lid. If so how does it hold up to heat.
ok show a video on how to get the lanyards on to the deployment system easily. ITs a pain in the butt to get the on .
Thanks for the video time I complete missed that and struggle showing guys how it works. They all laugh when I can't get them on the clips it's hard to demonstrate.
DALE G. PEKEL your awesome i watch your videos (:
Do you know if they are difficult to remove without the cord?
No cup holder?
Thanks for the information by the way, some firefighters in Spain have developed a self rescue system, you leave a link to it if you would take a look and you think you comment me.
