Hello Tenebris Infinite. I do not know how you feel about GZ, but in the discord they said that it was the 5 year anniversary for GZ. Do you have a video comment for its anniversary or to your followers who have been with you that long like myself? A video anniversary might be cool with a focus on your long time followers from back then who are still with you.
For now I got 12 baskets overlapping to save space, lol. Good heads up there dude! Edit: How do you come up with all the crazy ideas man. The utilitarian shelf thing with 8 boxes is creative af, ngl. Edit 2: and now all the way through I have to add that the dude even got crazier
Haha my man happy to share these designs, it actually is a funny story so i wont claim credit for the o.g utilitarian shelf but thats what kickstarted this all, someone posted how to put single boxes on it, i put double on the floor and a commenter advised me to put 4, then i figured out how to put 6! 😆 Cheers my dude 💪💪
With a bit of tinkering, I managed to get eight weathered trunks perfectly stacked and aligned on the shelves, in the same pattern as the first four you place in the video. So now it's two wide and four in height. Thanks for the tip and inspiration :)
I don't think I've seen any other creators take this approach: I actually dipped my foundations down in the center of my main building, creating a 'sub floor' area, which I then filled wall-to-wall with weathered chests, which the tops of align flush with the rest of the floor in the building. So essentially, my floor is my storage; I just look down at the labeled chests and access them as needed. This approach means your storage essentially takes up no space at all, and has an utterly neutral aesthetic.
Thats actually extremely smart, and could be applied in a ton of ways too, thank you for sharing! I plan to test myself but early on question here; hows walking on them?
@@TenebrisInfinite once you get your levels between the two different foundation heights correct, and provided you take the time to place your chests quite flush edge to edge, it's totally smooth and seamless, just a patch of differently textured flooring. There's also some forgiveness, you can have a gap up to a couple 'inches' without any consequence to your movement. But of course being totally flush is a nicer aesthetic.
Fantastic, that's exactly what i was hoping for! I think with your design too we could crack the 1000 item slot goal i've had for my next video :D very much a legend for sharing this 💪
Any chance of a tour of however you keep your portals straight in your compound? I'm hitting capacity on my current "Cathedral of Portals" and could use some inspo, which you're great at providing.
Totally can we'll be adding 2 new burner portals in tomorrows video, so i can take a extra second to go over how i organize things because its a unique approach that works really well
This was more so before the recent crafting changes, where spacial organization helped out a bit, but now these are just massive storage systems that look nice! :')
