YESSSS!!! a GREAT life lesson!!!! hiking that volcano at the speed i did, put a lot of things into perspective for me. thank you so much for watching ❤
You made it to the top. wow! You are a superstar! It was worth the hike! That view ! I loved how excited everyone was when the volcano was erupting! so excited! Aww 🥰
@@blvckpacker It was challenging but doable. However, the optional trek to Fuego was really tough (mostly because I didn't refuel and had poor hiking shoes).

@@UniquelySustainable @valentinavalentina3593 Please do it. don’t let the fear of “being out of shape” hold u back. u pay THEM so they move at YOUR speed! i was 100% out of shape, AND i also have asthma. i wasn’t exaggerating when i said i arrived HOURSSSS after 3 different groups 😭😂 and im not like those people that be like “im oUtTa sHaPe” but in reality they be IN SHAPE. 😂😂 im like legit out of shape i eat like a whale especially on vacation. i stopped every 30 seconds to breathe (again no exaggeration). i knew i was out of shape but it was really personal for me to make it. i’ve done a lot in life and this was by far the most rewarding thing ive ever done. seeing an active volcano that close is an experience you can’t get ever again in life. i truly encourage you ladies to at least try it.

@@blvckpacker omg you might have convinced me. I've been watching a lot of videos of people taking the hike and they said it was very difficult but they are active people. I'm sadly overall a couch potato so if they will give you time and not rush I could possible do it.
@@UniquelySustainable Yesss. i agree with them. the most difficult part is the fact that it’s just all uphill. so it’s more so stamina which is what will carry you through the hike. and nope! not rushed at all. my guide was sooo nice and comforting. not once did he rush me, me feel annoying, or look aggravated. hell he even forced me to STOP and lay down with my feet elevated so i can rest ! the guides are prepared to deal with all fitness-level hikers. they carry your bag and everything ! from one out of shape, young black woman to another - you got this girl. the end result is so rewarding.
