Drop the suspension with Vogtland springs and give it a stage 1 map. Totally transforms the car into a real sleeper. Keep the standard air filter and rear exhaust. Who needs pointless pops and bangs.
This was my first car same engine. Had a lot of fun with it it's easy to make it slide a lil bit. Did 1000kms trips with 4 people in it. What I don't like is the steering very light no feedback at all.

Nowadays, for the price you can buy it for, it's a nice ''hothatch'' and a daily at the same time i think
The gt one is real sharp in steering and it’s way sportier
Leuk ding, maar je hebt een tce 180 had je even wat meer verdiept en zelf wat gesleuteld dan was die auto echt een hele leuke super sportieve auto geweest die ook nog eens goed klinkt, denk aan een downpipe, turbo upgrade, en denk aan schokdempers en veerpoten dan was het een totaal andere auto met 300pk
Wat zijn die 2 grijze elementen op de voorbumper? Vind deze er mooi/stoer uitzien vergeleken de andere voorbumpers zonder die grijze vlakken
Got one with a 1.4 TCe. Not too fast, but decent for nice everyday cruising. I think it handles pretty nice. It feels very stable on the road.
I just got this car but im waiting for the delivery , how much gas does it consume in the city and any idea of the top speed?

Lowering spring ( eibach pro kit ❤️ ) and rear silencer delete is amazing for this car , and it should be done in every single one. Factory exhaust is a joke and remember that you have basic version, even only GT line is lower and perfom better not even talking about GT and RS. And i can't agree with you that its not a car for petrolhead, just base model in stock is more " normal " practical car, but its very easy and cheap to change it 🤷🏻♂️ great platform imo
Well that was my point. This model, stock, is a good car, but not a petrolhead car imo. In that case get the RS, or something else.
@@reallifeoffabian But looking for its price range you need just few cheap mods to turn it into a real fun car! Its quick af but i agree, it needs coils & exhaust mods as fast as possibile. Low priced RS's are at least 2x more expensive than 2.0tce.
Its a good GT - grand tourer and a "sleeper". I just bought it a one week ago and its pretty great. There is just one weird thing, when I floor it, its a little bit jumpy from 3-4k rpm, I wonder if every 2.0tce does that 🤔 otherwise its a smooth ride
It's not something I noticed while owning it, but I didn't often reach that high in the rev range XD
Otherwise a good "cheap" car overall indeed.
Change your spark plugs!! When i bought mine i have had something like that and that's how problem was solved
@@michac903 the engine has only 80k km, but I guess ill go to a mechanic and ask him to do it
@@simorx580 I bought mine with 109k and problem was already there, i changed them myself and everything is good after :)

Im thinking of getting one, but idk what version should i get. I heard that 1.6 petrol 16v 110hp is best option for daily drive.
it is a good car, but I would get the 2.0 if you can, much faster and still good on fuel.

IK denk thumb's up..ik moet gezien de situatie waar we nu inzitten (wie niet) mijn 335i coupe cabrio m verkopen..met veel pijn in mijn hart..2011 ...60k kilometers..Dus ik was naar een betaalbare 2e auto aan het zoeken en deze auto had mijn attentie .Nee ik snap dat hij mijn BMW niet doet vergeten geluid power etc etc ..maar ik had het idee dat dit voor weinig centen...(5000 tot 6500) toch mijn pijn een beetje kan verzachten (een heeeeeel klein beetje) of zeg jij zoek verder in hoge KM stand en vele bouwjaren ouder met +meer pk etc .Mijn hoofd auto is meer dan oke ..maar ik zoek naar mijn 2e auto voor weinig geld om toch wat plezier te hebben.En dat mijn vrouw gewoon haar werk kan doen ( verpleegkundige in de thuiszorg)
Het is een uitstekende auto voor dit geld. Redelijk betrouwbaar en verrassend zuinig. En best snel. geen 335i inderdaad, maar toch een goede keuze. een oudere auto met meer PK kan, maar gaat je wel wat meer maandelijks kosten waarschijnlijk!
PS: als je deze specifiek wat vind, moet je snel zijn. Hij staat nog te koop! haha. (autoscout24)
Bedankt man voor je replay..dat van een oudere auto had ik zelf ook bedacht dat word een money pit .Maar soms hoor je een mening graag van een ander en mijn vrouw ook :)Dank je voor je antwoord en ik ga het naar aanleiding van je video overwegen..
Ik rij deze auto en heb hiervoor een BMW 1.20i gehad. De motor van de Megane is zeker pittiger en nodigt steeds weer uit tot hard rijden. Goede km-vreter op de cruise control. Stoelen zitten goed en lekker laag bij de grond. Minpunt is de standaard audio.
