None of the characters in this show can keep up with Dom. Get Bradley Martin or someone. If this show was a t.v. version of Bros vs. with more gnar pump/supa sets/ and explosion sound effects this show would take off.

For real though it’s funny seeing this shit because 90% of the time it’s just him talking to the camera in empty gyms or filled with strangers that act like they want nothing to do with it.
The rest are Bradley appearances. And even then no one really talks much except for him.
So it’s really refreshing to see this actually transfer to more people that he can actually act off of. It’s just great to see this exist at all

Broscience has never once had a serious moment in it ever, so trying to have a serious crisis just feels wrong. Hope they just give Dom a budget and tell him to do whatever he wants.

I think this has a lot of potential and I like the idea but it's just missing a few factors. The writing needs to be done in a way that compliments Dom's style of comedy more and makes the episodes flow better, the editing needs to be a bit more high quality, and the project needs a bigger budget in order to have a more professional look to it. Too many of Dom's fans are dismissing this too easily without giving it a chance to grow and develop into it's own thing. The only unfortunate part is that I doubt that The Rock is willing to pour enough resources into this project to get it to that level.
Why is this not just uploaded to Broscience channel, what's the point with a collaboration if the rock is not even in the series? They could have done this on there own?

This isn't really the Rock's channel per se genius... Everything here is made and uploaded by his production company why do you think he pimps in practically every fucking video... Apart from recording the videos you think he does anything on this channel? He records it. His people edit and upload it. He comments the day of posting. That's it. Also if you knew anything about the fitness side of youtube you'd know they never made shit on ad revenue to begin with majority of their income is from merchandising. This guy with a "failing" youtube channel is driving an Aston Martin and a McLaren and lives on the bay in LA. He's doing fine....
Also check out the Rock's views they've plummeted... Only vids that gets views are this series and collaborations he did... People aren't into this Seven Bucks Entertainment and the Rock presents shit... 120k views average at 2 mil subs? Abysmal numbers

This is amazing
Dom Mazzetti is funny because it's very easy to believe in the character on his youtube channel and it doesn't exactly transition that well to true television format. When you're trying to pack in the comedy and nobody else in the scene even comes close to being as funny as a single character (because of how over the top that one character is) it just doesn't work.
As armchair producer, in my opinion, so far there's not enough broscience in the episodes. There's some illusion to Dom's dislike of classes with his hesitance to incorporate the chick classes, but he doesn't really elaborate on why he hates classes. I would think he could spend some time walking around the gym yelling at folks for what they're doing wrong (half repping, using the smith machine, kipping pull-ups, gloves, cardio, etc) and right (skipping leg day, curls, bench press, etc). Many broscience clips have Dom talking to an imaginary lifter - these episodes could feature a real person there and their reactions to Dom. I feel like the episodes are too reliant on the female trainer and the accountant, and they should be side-plots with the main plot being broscience with additional actors.
Another great episode idea would be based on the "Do you even lift" broscience clip where Dom goes in search for the mythical lifter but keeps coming up short due to people "needing to work on their lats", "not touching their chest", and "being white while working out in a park."
It's only half of one episode, so we'll have to see how future full episodes play out. There's a lot of potential from the broscience clips.
Agree 100%. They should have a gym based on all the insane or somehow rational stuff he came up with over the years. Like have an episode about a program where he kicks out all the new years resolution people at like 9:30 am or clear out half the gym for parking spots. Or do a special where he flies a drone and gives dudes pagers that go off when its cool to take off their shirts at a barbecue.
The biggest problem with this though is Broscience is about Dom being larger than life and somehow fun to look up to. The show should celebrate that aspect. Instead they just make him a bumbling idiot that the supporting cast has to corral around. The Office cuts are played out too.
Yeah great point. They don't dwell enough on the "Dom worldview." They're trying to cram too much action shit in. They need to chill and slow down and set the scene, build the character. I think this goes with making it all about this ball busting fitness chick. You need to introduce that after setting the scene and developing the main character.

Much better with this episode you get a better idea of the characters, and the jokes landed better. Still not quite there yet, but I they focus more on the gym tropes it could have legs.

I hope you read this, it does have potential but you're forgetting what made Dom well Dom. Your main audience is a bunch of meat heads like me. We came looking for advice and found you, we laugh and get pumped to go to the gym. So that's what I feel you're missing. Wish you the best of luck.
