Thanks Freddy, appreciate that. Personally I think I'm a much better actor. I mean did you see that opening scene. Hahaha. I'm thinking Sam and I may be up for an Emmy after that one, lol.
C43, E55 W210, C32, C55, CLK55 W208 and W209 are all pretty reliable cars. The '04 and '05 ML55 also had pretty much all of it's issues (including rust) pretty much fixed.
I had a C55 for a number of years, it was a great car, tons of fun. The best thing I ever did to mine was swap out the diff for a Quafe LSD. It could then get MUCH more of its power down, in all conditions and give much improved acceleration. Surprisingly, the LSD improved its handling. It reduced the understeer, whereas I expected it to make the understeer slightly worse.
My dad had one back in the day and was flawless. He did 100.000 milles withouth any issue! Your brilliant video made me realize again how amazing this cars are. Thanks again!
OMG I BOUGHT THE BLACK C55 LISTED IN THE VIDEO FOR $9350!!! You’re also one of the reasons I purchased. I felt a lot better after watching your e55 videos and searching forums. I love it! I bought it for $8500!!!
I have an 05 C55 with 75k miles. EurochargedATX tuned ECU/TCU and it’s been bulletproof and a fantastic daily driver. You’ll love it! Having all of my cats removed by EC this year for fun and to free up some power. Can’t wait.
I've got X pipes, res delete and plan to remove all 4 cats and just run the mufflers. Eurocharged admitted to me that the shorty header for our car dont show any gains over just removing the primary cats, just slight weight savings up front. If I could find a place that still make long tubes, that would be a different story. Can't pull much power out of these motors. They were at the end of their life cycle but man were they perfected.
I am using my c55 as a daily driver. Drives comfortably in the city and perfect cruiser for long roads. The nice thing is . They are so rare. She is a real head turner. No aftermarket parts and 100% original.
LegitStreetCars besides the head bolt failure, how about the c63 AMG’s? I have one with upgraded head bolts and it seems bulletproof and super reliable! However I don’t wait 10k miles to do an oil change because I heard that’s what causes early camshaft wear(along with a lot of other longterm issues. I’d love to hear what a professional(you) thinks about them! Greetings from rolling meadows!
I'd also like to piggyback off this and ask how many times you actually saw the head bolt issue? I too after googling became concerned, but then when I looked for actual failues rates it was < 5%.
This is very true and not many people realize just how light the C55 is compared to it's bigger E-Class and especially S-Class brothers. 3500-3600lbs compared to 4300-4500lbs? That extra 100+ HP from the Kompressor also has to haul more as well as being burdened with ABC(Active Body Control) or Air Suspension, SBC braking, and the extras found in a larger luxury car.
They only made these in 05-06. My buddy had one. It was a very reliable, low maintenance (comparatively) and solid little car. This man speaks the truth.
For whatever this is worth in helping a potential C55 buyer, objectively speaking, it really is a fantastic car. After going from a high-revving M3 to a torque-rich 540i, I decided that was my idea of perfection: a hearty V8 in a mid-sized sedan. The C55 feels more touring car than sport car - perhaps best suited for spirited highway driving and handily overtaking just about every force-injected in the fast lane. So if generous torque and that smooth, unequalled power of a V8 is your thing, consider the C55. Yes, a manual M3 or S4 would be more engaging-though it comes at a steep cost: obnoxiously loud revs, jostling ride quality, and power you’re constantly working for - basically an 18-25 year-old’s dream. About 15% of the time I do wish I were in an M3. The rest, I’m seduced by the sound of that exhaust, the effortless power, and the refined comfort. And for what it’s worth, the C55 actually TIED the E46 M3 on the Nurbergring-straights vs corners? As for reliability, I’ve owned a C55 since 50K miles in 2012 and it’s easily been my cheapest, most reliable car ever owned. Eight year’s worth of non-maintenance repairs: a) camshaft position sensor, just as video mentioned and the only time it’s broken down b) MAF and MAF sensor Literally, that’s it apart from routine upkeep (fluid changes, filters, rear brakes, and a new battery). Not a single electrical issue, no pixel display issues (cough), or cooling/radiator woes. This thing is a champ. It does eat thru tires, especially since they’re staggered, so no rotating. New set installed will cost you $850-$1050, depending on brand. But at 104k miles, nothing else. In fact, mine STILL has the original struts - no small thing considering my old E36 M3 required 4 pairs of new Bilsteins in the same duration of ownership. PS: on thing to consider... a brand new, handbuilt M113 engine for a C55 would cost you $32K (for the engine alone). That is what MB of Monterey, CA recently quoted a local SLK55 owner. That’s the quality of engine you’re getting for the price of a used Honda.
I have you beat! I bought a 2001 w-163 ml55 for $1000!!! It did run and over heat with the best of them . Oh and leak oil!! But a used 60,000 mile engine and new fluid in the transmission it runs like new
Alex, thanks for making me feel better about my own 2005 MB C55AMG purchase! It is a lot of fun to drive, and so far no issues. Also, thanks again for your local Chicago suggestion of a MB technician for any future repairs for my car. I look forward to more videos and your website. Take care and have a great weekend!
hi- just wanted you to know what an inspiration you are to me to DIY all my cars. Keep up the great work and you look like Nick S lol hes your cousin i bet
Another interesting note...the C55 has the nose (hood, fenders, grill, etc) from a CLK55. This was needed to fit the longer V8 into the 203 chassis which was designed only for a V6.
I used to be a gear-head growing up in the 60's-70's with muscle cars, hot rods, heaps and my Caddy's in Chicago. I am 67 and I buy a car for everything you talk about. I have learned that MB's are the best used cars if you have information. Thank you. I own 2000 E320 Wagon, 2007 CLK350 Coupe 2dr, 2009 SL63AMG. I love my cars.
Your E55 videos led me to look a little deeper in the AMG catalog for a replacement for my MK5 R32. I bought my 2006 C55 last October with 84000 miles on it in your backyard (Chicago). I love the car and I was thinking the same thing you were, more noise! I can't wait to see what you do with your C55! Thanks for the videos!
Hey Alex thanks for making sweet videos! My BMW version of the C55 would be a E39, not M5 but the M-technic 540i. Had one for 7 years and 70k miles. Only thing that broke on it was the FSU unit that cost me 120$ and put it in myself in 15 minutes! Very similar power and cars, tho 5 is slightly bigger. It's people like you and Tavarish that keep me wrenching!
I had a lot of luck with my 550i e60 however you do have to keep an eye out for worn valve stem seals/guided which unfortunately is common with the n62 v8. We put 80k mi on it and unfortunately it was totaled at 155k mi but that being said it does fair well in a crash lol.
broccli2007 Sorry to hear it was totaled. I only had mine from 23k-93k, no valve problems. I personally don't keep cars past 100k, any. Just to let you know that the e60 and e39 did NOT have the same V8. My comment focused on the e39 not e60 problems but I appreciate your input.
I bought a c240 last summer for 2K 103K miles. Thanks to you I have all the problems fixed and beautiful headlights on all our vehicles! Now I have to save up some cash and grab one of those AMG'S! !!
The humor and inclusion of SamCrac was so freakin funny! I was laughing so hard right from the start. Nice to see a series on a RELIABLE Mercedes product. Did I say that? Reliable? Holy crap!
I am a second owner of a 2006 C55. I bought in 2010 with 2500 miles on it. Yes 2500 miles. Car is pristine and now has only 50,000 miles on it. Never winter driven and is a fantastic drive and doesn’t attract attention from the boys in blue .... up here in Canada
What about the c55's older brother, the c32? I've heard it's pretty bulletproof, and it's a fun little car to drive. It also has the added bonus of being a cheap car to throw bolt ons at and see some pretty significant gains.
I wanted to ask about that too! :D I used to have C32 and I loved it despite the rust xD it was almost every where :P BUT it was not reliable.. it had problems with air vents (the mechanism used to get stuck and it did not blow into legs) and electrical problem with BAS. Dealer replaced the braking switch and later the wireing but that didn’t help. When the BAS error came out, the cruise control didn’t work. At the end, the engine broke down. The exhaust valve of the 1st cylinder broke apart and destroyed the cylinder, the head and the piston... :( moreover I had problems with torque converter while driving easy. It put 2nd gear very ‚harsh’.
I had a 2006 SL55 AMG a couple years ago and loved it. $130,000 new, I paid $24,500 when it was 10 years and 80k miles old. Solid, wonderful car with retractable solid glass top... but repairs are expensive and SO much to go wrong on those cars. The guy who had it before me had a TON of things fixed (he kept all repair sheets from dealer). I really want another AMG - the engine is sublime. Love the idea of one that doesn't spark financial anxiety attacks with every journey down the road - so this looks to be a good one! 150 less HP, but also 1500 pounds lighter! Its no SL, but for $10k, I'm totally in for one. Now if I can just find someone to build a garage for $25,000 in Virginia...
I bought a 2003 c240 6 speed manual when I was 18 years old. I’ve flogged that thing like it owes me money and to this day it’s been super reliable. Only check engine light from it was an EGR valve and a crank position sensor. I will probably always own a Mercedes from now on.
The E55 Wagon @ 8:32 is super clean! I just recently bought my ML320 CDI from the sale dealership and drooled over the E55 while I was there! Granville Island Auto Sales - Vancouver BC
It’s awesome to see the C55 get some love on TH-cam. I’ve only ever seen 2 other ones other than mine here in middle TN but it’s a beautiful car and like you said perfect daily driver. stout enough to beat on and be fun yet comfortable and reliable enough to make it to work everyday.
Well, the 06 CLS55 AMG was a 1 year only vehicle. IMO, it will be worth more than an 06 E55 sedan, due to the low production numbers. The supercharged E55 had just under 8,000 made over its 4 year run. The CLS55 had just under 2,800. Both numbers are US market vehicles. My first choice is the E55 Wagon, then the CLS 55AMG.
CLS55 is very expensive for a 12 year old AMG is on of the most expensive ones I just sold mine a year ago and got top $$$ for.it with 135k miles on the clock
It's hard to find a clean CLS55. For some reason that car attracted a younger party crowd than the more sterile E55, many of them were smoked in,and driven hard with little maintenance. Similar to the CL of the same vintage.
I recently bought a W210 E55. In my area, we don’t really have rust issues since we don’t salt our roads. My car is rust free and has been very reliable. I beat on it, took it to the drag strip and it just keeps going!
Im new here and i never even thought about AMG before, but you totally convinced me, i will get one some day soon :) I got an Audi A6 2018 atm :) but i need sumthing alot faster ;) THANK you for this great channel :)
Nice car Alex . This C class is the best car that mercedes have done since 2000. I own one for about 7 year and still run very well. Nice choice. Looking foward for the next videos.
I had a 2006 one last year. 30,000 miles in 1 year. All I did was engine mounts and spark plug change with coil. Absolute perfect. It’s 100 bullet proof
Watching this 2 years later... you were hard sellin’ it back then! It was overkill lol. You’ve come aways and were all proud! You do great Sir! Keep at em’!
Regarding the older rusting Mercedes, you can tell if the car has been dealer serviced or not by the rust. If you have a 89-02 car that is completely free of rust, then it was dealer serviced, for as long as you service the car at exclusively at a Mercedes dealer, you got a 40 year corrosion warranty, and they would replace every single panel, with the newer painted (non rusting) panels, until you car was completely rust free. It was the "eco friendly" water based paints that caused all this trouble in the first place.
Great video. I picked up a low mile C55 for $7500 bucks a few years ago. I got a Renntech tune, intake, and exhaust and it's awesome. Super comfortable, quick, and looks great. I think its no doubt the best ride you can pick up for under $10.
You did an excellent choice of picking the c55 . My father used to have the w210 e250 from 1996 and by 2004 the sides and the wheel arches had rusted. By comparison, the w211 e200 we have is 10 years old(bought in 2008 by a previous owner from Germany and we bought it used at Greece in 2015) and hasn't rusted at all
Incredible work. I admire your ability to form a video of this quality. From on camera presence to content in the video. It was like watching a high budget professional video. And Thank you for the heads up on what might be a new daily as I build the hell out of this GTO.
Changed my crankshaft sensor on my r129 Sl500 only took 30 min thank God I did....and the electrical connection sleeve when I first bought the car it kept loosing gear at high speeds so I changed this too and solid shifting now man these cars are solid
Had one of these in white, traded out when the warranty was over and I have missed it ever since, even though I traded up... It really is a great, minimalistic, fun car to drive.
Hey Alex, love your videos. Exhaust definitely needs fixing. You don't buy an AMG to go around unnoticed. A sneaky old resonator delete sounds like the go to keep that stock look.. It's a shame that cars like this start off around 25k down under. Having a car like this would be awesome. I love owning and fixing slightly older cars that other people are afraid of owning for fear of something going wrong on them and costing them the price of the car to repair. Also don't know what you're talking about with the wheels..... JK, they're horrible.
Yea I tried looking at the wheels in a different light. I gave it a few days, thought about it and I can't find anything positive about the wheels. They need to go. I like the 2009 C63 wheels
The Conforti Brothers more comfy. Heavier. More electronics to go bad. More stylish. Sleek. But i dont like the rear end and hard to find them with quad exhausts
They have the air suspension system which WILL go bad eventually and really pricey. Also camber arms are notorious although not too expensive, still a pain.
I bought my 05 C55 Amg 3 years ago with 112k miles for $7900 love this car and have only done a few modifications (from kleemann)so far. But this is an amazing car!!!
Olomana what about the corroding head bolt issue, intake manifold leak and camshaft lobe wear on the earlier models? That alone is enough to scare someone off purchasing one....
I traded up from E430 to C55 for all the reasons in this video and more. Braking is traditional master cylinder and brake booster with no SBC. SBC was in W211 and above at the time and is a real problem. Also, door locks are electric rather than pneumatic so no PSE and vacuum lines to contend with. Downsides are the interior does not feel like a Mercedes. Plastic and switch gear are cheap compared to W210. However, my example's interior is rattle and squeak free. I also do not like shift buttons. I inadvertently hit them and get an unintended gear shift. This happens too often. Otherwise, car is near perfect and does what I want and more. Mine has just 67,000 miles. I look forward to many years and many miles of enjoyment.

I owned a 02 6 speed Manual C240 for years and currently drive a 06 c230 and I love the 203 chassis. I am a technician in development at a MV dealership and can’t wait to own my very own C55 one day!
You are seriously an amazing presenter
Thanks Freddy, appreciate that. Personally I think I'm a much better actor. I mean did you see that opening scene. Hahaha. I'm thinking Sam and I may be up for an Emmy after that one, lol.
Tavarish your awesome bro and an inspiration to home wrenchers! Thanks for being you.
Hell yea. I cosign
agreed...love the content and your engagement. Tavarish, you're doing great stuff too :)
I agree with Tavarish. Great presenter and always very informative.

I deliver in a 98 C230. Best office ever!
i would order from dominoes just to see the car LOL!!!
C43, E55 W210, C32, C55, CLK55 W208 and W209 are all pretty reliable cars. The '04 and '05 ML55 also had pretty much all of it's issues (including rust) pretty much fixed.
Even the new c43 fee pretty good rented one for a week and beat the shit out of it seemed to be a very solid car inside idk about outside tho

Nick Janssen duddeeeee I’d totally be down to help man!
this post illustrates the value of channels like this one and Samcrac
How many miles does your have? I’m thinking about purchasing one as well
Israel Clarkson when I bought it has about 80182. That was on the 7th of this month

W210 E55
BMW Bring More Wrenches no thank u
As a bmw driver, I would have to say the e34 m5 is bullet proof, nice and simple, no electric headaches
With headers and a tune, the C55 will keep up with a lightly modded 211 E55 on the highway. (Greetings from a fellow MB tech- 16 years)

Nice, but those wheels
Gerrit Harteveld Melting them and casting new wheels will make them look better
Marc D haha
Well they all can't be first round draft picks!

e39 is more e500 territory. plus those 4.4 v8s cost a lot to change a leaky coolant pipe under the intake manifold, like remove the heads money lol.

Great Video. As a mechanic that owned a 02 CLK 430 , I really enjoyed the way you laid out the known faults. Subbed.
I used to have a C55, great car. Mine had the very rare alabaster white paint.
AMGmeister
Ssup dude! Love your W211. 👌. I found your channel a while ago thanks to Legitstreetcars. Keep up the good work. Both of you 👍
Same, it was my first AMG, have a CL55 that's sitting next to my E63 4matic right now. Thinking of trading it for a C55 again and making it my daily
Oh man that must have looked amazing.
I have C32 estate with quad AMG exhaust also in alabaster white. Can you tell me something more about this color?
I have C32 estate with quad AMG exhaust also in alabaster white. Can you tell me something more about this color? Does it mean any better value?
I have decided to sell my Porsche and get an AMG car because of this channel
. This is now my favorite channel on TH-cam.
What about the c55's older brother, the c32? I've heard it's pretty bulletproof, and it's a fun little car to drive. It also has the added bonus of being a cheap car to throw bolt ons at and see some pretty significant gains.
Great little car. I was looking at those too. Almost just as reliable but definitely just as bullet proof drivetrain wise.
LegitStreetCars that makes me happy. As i have a 60,000km 2004 c32 it should last me a while =)
I wanted to ask about that too!
They rust like mad, otherwise great cars.
i got 2002 c32 AMG for 2500,,has some minor body issues but interior and engine are cherry.
The person who built that motor is Albanian. Florim Amdija.
Fuvking Albanian baby
Paulo Lumaj gang gang
Njish je
Nice review Alex! I have an 06 E55 (M113K) and definitely my favorite Mercedes engine. 176,000 miles, changed plugs at 100,000, still runs perfect
Hahaha... Nice Samcrac cameo!!! And dude... I just got delivery of my C55 AMG two days ago!!
DUDE. The same guy built my engine!!what is happening!?
I bought a 2003 c240 6 speed manual when I was 18 years old. I’ve flogged that thing like it owes me money and to this day it’s been super reliable. Only check engine light from it was an EGR valve and a crank position sensor. I will probably always own a Mercedes from now on.
You're letting all the secrets out! This is how I found my CLS55 that I bought
How did it turn out for you? I seriously want that car!
The E55 Wagon @ 8:32 is super clean! I just recently bought my ML320 CDI from the sale dealership and drooled over the E55 while I was there! Granville Island Auto Sales - Vancouver BC
Haha I love your little skits they are hilarious!!
Daniel Chaidez Check my channel. C55 vids!
It is true. I owe one and doesn’t make sense to sell it at this point with only 42k miles after 13 years
You just know that Scotty Kilmer is freaking out as he watches this.
No one talks about the CLS 55 AMG
Well, the 06 CLS55 AMG was a 1 year only vehicle. IMO, it will be worth more than an 06 E55 sedan, due to the low production numbers. The supercharged E55 had just under 8,000 made over its 4 year run. The CLS55 had just under 2,800. Both numbers are US market vehicles. My first choice is the E55 Wagon, then the CLS 55AMG.
josh tex I love my cls 55
CLS55 is very expensive for a 12 year old AMG is on of the most expensive ones I just sold mine a year ago and got top $$$ for.it with 135k miles on the clock
It's hard to find a clean CLS55. For some reason that car attracted a younger party crowd than the more sterile E55, many of them were smoked in,and driven hard with little maintenance. Similar to the CL of the same vintage.
Andre Stojanovic mine has 78 k Miles on it
I recently bought a W210 E55. In my area, we don’t really have rust issues since we don’t salt our roads. My car is rust free and has been very reliable. I beat on it, took it to the drag strip and it just keeps going!
The C AMGs are all amazing, not many small V8 cars around. Solid rwd chassis great candidate for a track car!
Scored one last night, needs to be sorted out, was a repo and hit something. This video made me do it, so thanks for the obsession!
1:21 Well played sir, well played.
Now I know what to look for when I want to try an AMG! I didn't realize there were any reliable options.
Im new here and i never even thought about AMG before, but you totally convinced me, i will get one some day soon :) I got an Audi A6 2018 atm :) but i need sumthing alot faster ;) THANK you for this great channel :)
The Spectator love my 2011 A6 3.0T, but looking forward to buying an older E55 AMG
if you have the 3.0t tune and pulley that shit!!
Nice car Alex . This C class is the best car that mercedes have done since 2000. I own one for about 7 year and still run very well. Nice choice. Looking foward for the next videos.
Best Mercedes guy out there, more vids plzzzzz
CLK430 owner here. Conductor plate, shifter assembly. But I do agree the M113 is great.
Those wheels are hideous!!! Makes the car look cheap. Love your channel sir!!! 👍
I had a 2006 one last year. 30,000 miles in 1 year. All I did was engine mounts and spark plug change with coil. Absolute perfect. It’s 100 bullet proof
please change those wheels. Everytime i see them i get major cringe attacks
Watching this 2 years later... you were hard sellin’ it back then! It was overkill lol. You’ve come aways and were all proud! You do great Sir! Keep at em’!
*laughs in CLK55 AMG*
Regarding the older rusting Mercedes, you can tell if the car has been dealer serviced or not by the rust. If you have a 89-02 car that is completely free of rust, then it was dealer serviced, for as long as you service the car at exclusively at a Mercedes dealer, you got a 40 year corrosion warranty, and they would replace every single panel, with the newer painted (non rusting) panels, until you car was completely rust free. It was the "eco friendly" water based paints that caused all this trouble in the first place.
Great car, I had a 2001 s55 and loved that engine!
Great video. I picked up a low mile C55 for $7500 bucks a few years ago. I got a Renntech tune, intake, and exhaust and it's awesome. Super comfortable, quick, and looks great. I think its no doubt the best ride you can pick up for under $10.
Wish i could buy one for under 10k but cheapest go for 15k with over 150k miles 😔
how much horsepower are you making?
how much horsepower are you making?
Warm up your lunch in the engine compartment. I used to warm up my food in my engine compartment on the way to work almost everyday !. Lbvs .
It’s seems like a great idea... until u get cancer
You did an excellent choice of picking the c55 . My father used to have the w210 e250 from 1996 and by 2004 the sides and the wheel arches had rusted. By comparison, the w211 e200 we have is 10 years old(bought in 2008 by a previous owner from Germany and we bought it used at Greece in 2015) and hasn't rusted at all
Always appreciate your free and very informative info...Thank You once again Alex...✌️😎
How can't I like that!?!?!? The car, the approach, and the futur series
Amggggggg! Loving the videos
Incredible work. I admire your ability to form a video of this quality. From on camera presence to content in the video. It was like watching a high budget professional video. And Thank you for the heads up on what might be a new daily as I build the hell out of this GTO.
The "issue" in this car reminds me of Samcrac's Mercedes Benz S600, with also four major "problems" (being the ugly wheels fitted in such a car)
I am absolutely enthralled by your channel!! I binge watch your vids. You are better than awesome!!!!
Thanks brother. Appreciate that
Your plan for upcoming series sounds PERFECT! (if the purists are happy, you aren't having any fun! Lol)
Changed my crankshaft sensor on my r129 Sl500 only took 30 min thank God I did....and the electrical connection sleeve when I first bought the car it kept loosing gear at high speeds so I changed this too and solid shifting now man these cars are solid
I totally agree with you , these engines are the best and last bulletproof Mercedes Benz engines
Agreed. I can't think of a bad factory wheel. Funny how that* works :)
prices really suck down under, i was looking at these when i sold my E36 AMG
ebay c63 knock offs are like $500 shipped lol.
zomble E36???????
Alex, you're the man bro. Love your lineup of cars dude
Love the C55. Super jealous! What's your thought on the 03-06 CLK55 AMG?
The Conforti Brothers more comfy. Heavier. More electronics to go bad. More stylish. Sleek. But i dont like the rear end and hard to find them with quad exhausts
The CLK55 is a great car as well. It's number 2 on my most reliable and cheap AMG cars
CLK's are badass, GL to you.
They have the air suspension system which WILL go bad eventually and really pricey. Also camber arms are notorious although not too expensive, still a pain.
@@C63Miami No the clk55 dont have air suspension
I bought my 05 C55 Amg 3 years ago with 112k miles for $7900 love this car and have only done a few modifications (from kleemann)so far. But this is an amazing car!!!
lol ur skits are genius
Bought a clk500 fl with the m273 5.5l v8, love it! Went for the clk cos of similar reasons, no air suspension, no sbc brakes...
Good job Floridu aduj!
Florian Avdija* the guy is albanian
These types of series are awesome. Can't wait for the next video in this series! Great job Alex!
You should do one of the C63 AMG M156!
still pricey
John Wu true but the point is to know how good it old especially on high mileage one.
Olomana what about the corroding head bolt issue, intake manifold leak and camshaft lobe wear on the earlier models? That alone is enough to scare someone off purchasing one....
if i could would love to get a used 2012!
4doors is better looking IMO.
I used the autotempest.com.... I could only find one with the P31 package....
65000 miles for 33k$
B6 Audi S4 Avant. I Bought a year ago for 8000€ and haven't had any issues. Amazing car!
I just bought a 2001 E55 AMG
SeamHead33 good job
gladcomming Roger that
SeamHead33 nightmare .
A W LoL
A W how so?
hey, great pick! Really liked this car when it came out. Tons of power in a small 4 door sedan, sounds like a great idea by MB
You forgot to mention conductor plate needs replacing on that transmission that is a common problem.
My Nevada raised w210 55 is rust free and performs like new at over 240k! Bulletproof and cheap!
Those wheels look like the came from Pep Boys!
Im purchasing one from the chicago area with 51k miles for 8500. This video gave me the confidence to pull the trigger on the deal. Love the videos!
Mike Carroll link me it I wanna see it don’t believe it til I see it lol 😂
@@legendarygamingchannel805 im picking it up tomorrow. Ill record a video and show it to ya.
Is the CLK55 just as good?
Ryan N no it's terrible
J FERRARI No it is not, it is just as reliable & fun. The C55 will feel a bit tighter around the corners. But the CLK is right up there
ian danton, I really want a CLK 55 (C208 chassis). I have the normal 200 Kompressor version and I love it!
Yes it is, shares same running gear, gearbox and trans etc, and looks better being a coupe in my opinion.
Ryan N yup, and much better as a a soft top!
Handcrafted by Florim Avdija, that's an Albanian AMG builder, proud of him. Cheers!
No comment on a similarly reliable BMW from a BMW guy...
Jackman this is about the MB on not BMW or else
Top notch video great presentation keep up the good work mate 👍🏻
Man those E55s are screamers. 500 hp and we got one thats 14 years old and still runs like a clock. Amazing cars
Nice ad for autotempest.
seriously how much are they paying these guys? Every auto youtuber is pimping them now.

I owned a 02 6 speed Manual C240 for years and currently drive a 06 c230 and I love the 203 chassis. I am a technician in development at a MV dealership and can’t wait to own my very own C55 one day!
