    @MsCherrypie11 thanks. inverting with straight legs is so much harder also for all other inverts like the flag invert, shooulder mount or twisted grip lift. but with some strenght and the correct technic you can learn it ;)

    You're so talented! I'm a beginner and I was wondering if you could give me advices for squeezing legs exercizes. I feel like I don't have strenght in my legs :(
    I also see you can climb the pole with socks too, I find it difficult to climb with naked feet even...

    great tutorial. I'm picking up the inverts pretty quickly, but I'm having trouble catching friction with my knees and thighs to come down in a handstand. Do you use any grip aids? Or is it strength that keeps you up?

    Very good tutorial! I'll show my girlfriend this video. Love the way you've shown the steps leading to being able to progress to full move. I'll look for more of yours that she can follow. Even I want to try now! :-D
    p.s. I can do the matrix and the flag and a couple of others then get dizzy and feel ill, not bad for a bloke I guess!

    How long did it take everyone to master this move? I have just started pole dancing 5 weeks ago and i still can't get this move down :(

    • @JuliaWahl
      @JuliaWahl  9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Samantha Aoki don´t worry if you can´t do it yet, this trick requires a lot of strength. 5 weeks is not a lot ;)

      +Samantha Aoki At my dance course, we didnt learn it until week 26. So don't be too hard on yourself at 5 week! Your still new. xxx

    • @nerella9m
      @nerella9m 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didnt learn it until almost 4 months in and i still struggled with it, once you gain more strength you should get the hang of it :)

    • @MissPandoraC
      @MissPandoraC 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      seriously don't stress, iv been doing pole for almost 8 months and still cant do this, I can do a dazzler, which is the beginning of this move (where you invert but hook your legs onto the pole, ((the position she is in as she slides down)) then drop my legs down but I cant just go up and over yet so iv been perfecting the basics before I move up.
      everyone progresses at their own rate and you shouldn't push yourself.
      just keep practicing and you'll get there.

      Two weeks from first attempt to first success for me; but some women have been poling for years and still cant do it, others get it on the first try. It depends what kind of shape you are in to start, if you have experience in other sports, and how often you practice.

    Tolles Video! Hast du einen Tipp welche Übung hilft wenn man die Beine nicht bis zur Stange bekommt? Kraft in den Armen habe ich und negative Klimmzüge sind auch kein Problem. Trotzdem schaffe ich die Bewegung nach hinten beim Invert nicht :(

    • @JuliaWahl
      @JuliaWahl  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      HUZZEL1 Pull up crunches sind super dafür. Du stellst dich neben die Pole (wie wenn du ein Invert machen möchtest) und ziehst dann die Knie hoch. Versuch die Knie bis neben die Ellbogen hochzubekommen und die Hüfte mach vorne zu kippen, sodass du so klein wie möglich wirst. So 8 Wiederholungen pro Seite sind für den Anfang ganz gut :)

  • @JuliaWahl
    @JuliaWahl  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @bcchy2011 i wish I could remember when I did my first air invert, but have no idea. but you need a lot of abs =)

    i've been doing pole over 2 years and i still can't invert... the weird thing is i can do a spatchcock.

  • @JuliaWahl
    @JuliaWahl  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I order mine directly from x-pole. poledanceheaven is also a good shop

  • @JuliaWahl
    @JuliaWahl  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    i only use tite grip for my sweaty hands, but it´s a grip aid without extra grip. you could use itac2, you will stick to the pole more than you wish ^^

  • @JuliaWahl
    @JuliaWahl  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    @jaaaaaxx thanks! =) you will need all your abs. the lower and upper abs. you can compare it a bit to crunches which work also all the abs

  • @JuliaWahl
    @JuliaWahl  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you can use the cup grip for the top hand, but the baseball grip is the most common one for the air invert

    Guten tag! Still LOVE your videos I'm learning so much from you and you make it look so easy! Nice to hear a voice behind the typed words! Love your beautiful accent (my husband's [named Reinhold] parents came to the U.S. 45 yrs ago from Munich). We traveled there last year (my 1st time in Europe) and it was unbelievable how GORGEOUS it is there! Danke for posting these tutorials!! Mach's gut!

  • @jaaaaaxx
    @jaaaaaxx 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video! Just had a question, do you engage your upper or lower abs more? When I try, I seem to also be twisting into the pole rather than going straight up and over, which makes it difficult. PS: I love your voice! I'm from Australia but lived and studied in Berlin and Munich for 6 months. Loved it!

    hast du es schon mal aus dem Side Climb versucht, da musst du dich nicht so lange nur mit den Armen halten? Ansonsten den Bizeps stärken ;)

    Great tutorial! The bent arm to straight arm seems to me why I could never master the descending angel move. My friend could do it perfectly and I watched her a jillion times and could never figure out why the heck I couldn't invert all the way. (Although I can do a straight leg kick up invert with no problem)
