As much as I always loved Trevors videos Sean added a level of humour that I always felt this channel was missing, his sarcasm is so funny and I laugh every time, Sean was a great addition to this channel and I hope to see more videos like this challenge style in the future

If you ever put any weight on the rear of that truck that axle is going to kiss the frame rails . That's why they usually notch the frame for clearance when they lower trucks .
So we used a corvette regulator/filter setup and used a returnless fuel rail from 2004 tahoe/suburban. Right now the ranger pump which we bypassed regulator in. The corvette filter/return is good so you don't have to run a return line all the way to the engine
I have a 2010 grand caravan it has a 3.3l V6 (just regular front wheel drive not all wheel) and the engine bay is quite large that 3.3 looks small in there. What is the likelihood of squeezing a ls4 in there... Is there much difference in basic layout between the two setups? Like Is the ls4 configured like most transverse mounted 4s an v6 engines? Or would it be a non feasible total nightmare? I think it would be pretty killer to have a soccer mom can that had a rumbly note out the back and relatively powerful. The new caravans go pretty good the new 3.5? V6 is rated at 280hp! Probably as fast as a stock ls4 swapped one...?

The transmission can be hard to find though. Maybe I should go pull a bunch and start selling them. I got a aluminum LH6 5.3 from that yard last year on sale only paid 180 and that included the core charge.

What are you guys going to do with the 5.0? Are you going to swap that engine into the ranger or are you going to swap your 5.3 LS engine into the ranger?

This aluminum driveshafts are pretty thin aluminum so welding them does seem difficult and possibly dangerous

This is our own challenge. Just 2500 budget to make it as fast as you can for drag race, road course laps, as well as a burnout

I started working for a driveshaft shop and they said they don’t do aluminum drive shafts either. i found it weird.
Dude the local pull-a-part type junkyard here in Michigan you can get a 5.3 for $200+core 1,300 is crazy to pay for a 5.3
It's 400 here but they didn't have 5.3 anywhere and the biggest issue was we could not find a 2wd transmission within 200 miles
