Here we are again coming at you with another quick on the run video! We didn’t even know we would be doing this video today to be fully honest. Let me tell you, it’s one that kinda had us blown away and we think it’ll have you blown away as well. We are looking at two Electric Fireplaces today. The Regency Skope, and the Simplifire Scion. The twist is... these guys are almost Identical!
What do I mean when I say identical. Well that’s exactly it. These guys have the same flames colors ,media for the most part. The only really big difference is the fire box. Now that’s crazy! How did this happen?! Did they accidentally make the same product? The answer is no and yes. No they didn’t accidentally do it. But yes they made the same product.
Let me explain that. In the fireplace industry as well as countless others. Many companies have the same private manufacturers building both of their products. To safe time and money they make almost complete identical units to sell to the public. Now this can get super confusing for the consumer.
Is the quality affected? Is one better than the other? What’s the big differences? In this video that’s exactly what we go over and help you guys understand. Great video. I didn't realize modern flames was headquartered in Phoenix, I live in the area. Might consider them just to support their local portion of the business. I do really like the Dimplex mist ones since it looks so real and doubles as a humidifier which is a bonus here... though I'd likely want to plumb it to not worry about the water and that takes a bit more work. With these electric fireplaces do the pull enough amps (when not running the heater, don't need that here in the Phoenix area) to need custom run electric?
They don’t use much power at all without a heater
@@embersliving Thanks. Finally found as spec that shows that. Dimplex doesn't show their non heater Watt/Amp usage but Modern Flames multi-view shows 1500W on a 120V for heat and with no heat

Hi we are in Florida and have been looking at the simplifire scion trinity with the white mantel, is it possible for us to buy just the mantel and buy another brand of fireplace to put in that mantel?
You can if you can find one that will fit. The Simplifire how ever is a great fireplace

I'm torn between Dimplex xl and Modern Flame Landscape full view. I prefer a more traditional look, however I will have a TV above it So I have narrowed it down to these two. Which would you recommend?

I heard that the older allure series (along with other Napoleon fireplaces)
are rebranded. Any truth to this? Does the Entice fall under this?
I heard that the Alluravision + series are the only true in-house built units.
I dont have an exact answer on that, I do know their flames are similar to other brands for what its worth
