- In this video, we'll start by looking at the latest addition to my farm, and then we'll talk baling, and two cuts versus three cuts of grass in a year. I welcome your thoughts or advice, if you think I'm doing anything wrong, or unrealistically for 1980's Ireland.

Another great video sir and I do love that round bale extension mod game changer for round baling. Now the out side round when I'm mowing I usually make that cut but it's the pass I cut after I finish mowing the rest of the field taxes are to high to let it and it just helps the bigger woody weeds and trees get started that the herbicide that you are going to spray on that hay field will not hurt it just makes for a wider fence row
Makes sense. I just got sick of the side mower constantly catching on fences, walls etc if I got a little close. Hence why I made up the story about the stones at the edge of the field, and leave that outer row nowadays. Thanks for watching, as always.

This episode is about rabbits, and it appears your next one is about carrots. Hmm. I'm sensing a major calamity coming if you're not able to keep those rabbits away from your carrots! You might have to hire Elmer Fudd to come in and take care of the rabbits!! 🐇🥕🥕

Thank you for that, AK. The REAL reason I don't mow the outer edge of the fields is I got sick and tired of my side mower constantly catching on fence posts, bits of bush, etc. But I think my story about stones getting kicked to the edges explains it in a believable way. Funnily enough, I've removed my rabbits again, because the mod was putting errors in my log, but I've kept the mesh gate in place, hoping to find another rabbit mod soon.
@@russellwhitlock1942 Are there any rock objects one could put around the field edges? Meh... maybe not. Probably would get in the way of your tractor going around for the first round. 😜
@@AK-FS There are, but they are quite large rocks, and I am thinking more about smaller stones, which would be just big enough to ruin a sharpened mower blade. Plus, I want to keep the number of mods down per save game. This save game already has 49 mods loaded for it.
@@russellwhitlock1942 True. Plus, each of those placeable rocks would be physics objects and probably eventually cause lag if enough of them were laid about. 🙂
