I've been binging on Gaggia videos the past couple of days, and recently purchased a Cardona Prestige. Unfortunately, I went about it backwards - I bought one first (from Amazon as I wanted to lock in a good price and figured returns would be easy if it was NOT what I wanted), but THEN found your videos and website! I wish I would have gone about it the other way around, and had given you my money as I have already learned sooooo much from Marc, Nick, the techs, etc. At the very least I can order parts and supplies from you guys! Thanks for all the great info!

How is your experience? I am struggling between choosing Cadorna Prestige and Delonghi Dinamica Plus. Read reviews online, some chose Dinamica for better cleaning process. What's your opinion? Were you able to pull great espresso shots?
No complaints from me. Sure, it takes a lot of water which is a bit annoying but it's all worth it.@@andrewjames_in

@Mark Thanks so much for your videos. I had a Jura Capresso Ena4 for over 15 years and it finally needed to be replaced. I decided to go with the Gaggia Cadorna Prestige. So far I LOVE it! The coffee is amazing and it's super easy to use. I have a few Jura 2 Phase cleaning tablets from my older machine. Would you recommend I use them on my Gaggia? I hate to discard them.
Hi t, You are welcome for the videos and thank you for the comments and question. I don't see a problem using up your Jura cleaning tablets in the Gaggia. Be sure and rinse properly after use and recommend switching to the Gaggia Coffee Clean tablets after the Jura's are gone.

@Mark What do you recommend to clean the milk carafe? The Manual recommends using the Philips Milk Circuit cleaner, but I'm not seeing it on the site. Thanks again.

Hello Mark, good morning, I have a question for you, do you know if the Gaggia Accademia RI9702/01 model (I think a discontinued model, because it does not appear on the official Gaggia website) still has technical support for spare parts and if it is compatible with new models (example : the coffee brewer group) in case it breaks? and if you could advise me, I am between this model Gaggia RI9604/01 (Cadorna Prestige) and Gaggia Accademia RI9702/01. Hey m, Thanks for the comment and question. We operate a Gaggia factory authorized service center - parts are still available. The brew group is a robust unit and can easily be replaced or rebuilt if needed. The Cadorna, compared to the older Accademia model has a much nicer user interface, more drinks on the menu and 4 user profiles to store custom drinks. I used the older Accademia daily for more than a year. I did appreciate the flow control on the dispensing spouts and the option to manually froth milk, Also liked the self cleaning carafe which deposits the rinse through the carafe handle and into the drip tray. Hope that helps!

Hi sp, Dosing is ~6.5 - 11.5 grams per grind cycle depending on strength setting.
