Thank you - Do you know how I can see past gmail activity in SF? i.e. 1k emails from prospecting are now accounts in SF but i cannot see the past emails sent. make sense? thx!
Is all the information you shared in this video still current? Specifically, the AWS, Einstein content.
Content is great, but i do have a remark: the main info from Gmail screen is from the Plugin UI on the right, but u cover the bottom half with your face. Would be better to have it on the left

Question: You mention the data is held/owned by a third party company, so if I log an email into salesforce does it disappear after 24 months or does it stay in salesforce forever being that I have now logged it under a contact in salesforce?
I'm basically looking for a way to send an email in gmail and have it logged under the same email address within salesforce.
what are the permissions a profile require to log events?

I have created gmail event and logged to salesforce.
and changed the event details in gmail and it's not updating to salesforce with latest details by editing the logged event.
Please share your thoughts on this
Thanks for the question - unfortuantely I won't be able to go in and look in your org a bit closer so I'd recommend raising a support Case with Salesforce who should be able to run some diagnostics and check if there isa sync issue somewhere. Hope you fix soon :)

Ah no! So sorry you're finding trouble with it. I'd recommend to raise a support case with Salesforce and they should be able to run a quick diagnostic to see if there is an issue with permissions or a firewall preventing it working? Best of luck. :)
Hey, i need some help. I have followed all the steps mentioned, but I can't seem to get the Salesforce extension on chrome to open up.
Facing same issue. In the extension info I found for corporate it will work only. Plz anyone suggest if it work for all.
Oh no!? Yes it might be to do with the Google Workspace/Admin/company settings? IF you remain stuck try raising a SF support ticket as they should be able to support. LEt us know how you get on :)

Hi Pablo - sorry to hear that. Sometimes these connectors can be a bit buggy when setting up depending on the version of your browser, etc. My best recommendation is to raise a Salesforce support ticket if you have issues still as they will be able to help. Best of luck - adam

I got "login to google" instead of "login to salesforce" and I do not have option to link accounts after allowing integration. Could you please suggest how to proceed next.
Errmmmm this might be something best to raise a case about. Clearly something needs looking into, possibly a firewall issue or something missed along the way? It would need someone going in to have a better look, so raising a Support Case with Salesforce would be my first call - hopefully it works soon for you!
how come i dont have "log email" button?? mine says "edit related records"
Hmmmm not sure, could be a permission or setting thing. Check out this official Salesforce help article on that specific thing: help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.email_int_setup_event_logging_parent.htm&type=5
I don't think EAC is Free any longer, even for the first 100 users
Ah really? They sometimes change rights but I'm with a client at the moment and the first 100 are free still, but they have Unlimited Edition org, so maybe to do with that?
You have extended the 4 min content to 24 min- its waste of time.
Sorry! I tried to go in detail to help explain better, but I get your point. A version that has it all in 1 min and detail later might be better :)
