Hello! The easiest/quickest way to wear in shoes so you don't get blisters from the hard back part anymore is to hit them with a hammer! Just lightly but enough to soften the leather - only works if they are leather of course. I do it to all my new shoes now before I weather them and it's so much better!

Hang in there with the Thea sandals. The leather wears in, and the footbed becomes more flexible. Mine also gave me blisters, and so for a while I would only wear them to work (walk through parking lot, sit at cubicle, walk back through parking lot at end of day, nurse my wounds after), but now. Honestly. They feel like slippers. Really comfortable and soft against the skin.

As soon as you mentioned Glitter Babes I could literally smell that watermelony smell from the glitter rollerball! And I don't even have that candle! Why did we ever thing to roll blue glitter all over ourselves? X

I have the first pair (and the second- I have a problem, and I also work at Madewell) of shoes you showed, and they are pretty uncomfortable at first, but use some bandaids where you get the blisters, wear them twice, and then give them a break for a while. The next time you wear them, they'll be far more comfortable. I've also heard rubbing (dry) bar soap on the shoes where you get blisters can help prevent them, but I haven't tried that one out!
Hey Anna, as a way of stopping the blisters on your feet, try going to a sports/outdoor store and getting an anti-chafe stick. They usually look like a deodorant stick, and reduce the friction on your skin. Hope it helps xx

Hi Anna! I have the same problem with the Madewell shoes. I bought some adhesive heel liners (you can find them from Dr. Scholls on Amazon) to avoid blisters. It really helps!
I have that same protein powder and sometimes make protein pancakes with it. Just add 1 or 1.5 scoops, two eggs, a little baking powder and cinnamon. Blitz it with an immersion blender and fry up for yummy pancakes. I wouldn't recommend the "natural" flavour, though, as it tastes like salty wood chips.
Before putting shoes on for the day (well those that cause irritation, or friction, which leads to blisters) put Vaseline on those areas. It makes it slip against the area, instead of rub. My mom and I use that trick, as we are constantly buying new shoes and need to break them in (very painful, usually.)
Just a tip for the Madewell sandals because I have a pair too. But try to wear them around your house with fuzzy socks. It sounds silly, but mine are breaking in nicely : )

I'm a runner (half marthons etc.) and they're just the best for staying up. No sagging and having to pull them back up, no low hanging crotches, none of that. I know other brands that are also very good, but they even more expensive! I mean, I already think Nike and Asics or Adidas are quite expensive brands (although cheaper than Lulu), but in terms of how durable the elastic is, and how well they stay on your butt, Lulu is just better. I have a lot of Nike and they stretch quicker and I have had a lot of seams come loose.For things like yoga though, I am a lot less fuzzy, but then I guess the fashionable part is important for many people.

Anna! I blasted my madewell sandals with a hairdryer and wore them with socks until they cooled! Worked really well and wear them all the time now!

Lay the knotted chain in a small amount of vinegar in a dish and use two straight pins or open safety pins to wiggle the knots apart.

Try laying your necklace out on a flat surface then use a pin to tease out the knot. Mine get tangled so often so this trick is handy.
