When you say 6/4 that means 4 beats in the measure but you split each beat to allow 6 notes in that measure? How would you count that? Sorry I'm dumb lmao
@@felicitagonzalez931 When you see a 6/4 you have to check the second number, the 4 means that we will be counting quarter notes, and the 6 means that a full measure will have the same lenght as 6 quarter notes. For example a 7/8 would have you counting eighth notes, and a measure would have the lenght of 7 eighth notes. It can get pretty messy though.
@@felicitagonzalez931 What helped me is to think of it this way. The top number (in this case 6) will be how much to count to. The bottom number (4 here) will be how fast you are counting it. So you will be counting 1 to 6, but in the "speed" of quarter notes. Another example is 3/4. The top number here is 3, so you would be counting to 3. But how fast? The bottom number is 4, so you would be counting in the "speed" of quarter notes. For 7/8, you will see that the top number is 7, so count from 1 to 7. The bottom is 8, so it would be faster than if the bottom number is 4. You would count double the speed, in 8th notes. Correct me if I'm wrong tho.
This is my favourite type of math rock. It’s hard finding these almost ethereal, whimsical acoustic style bands. Yvette Young’s acoustic album introduced me to the style and I just discovered this band today.
@@YokaiSlayer I just discovered Jyocho a week ago. I noticed how the ending song of Banished from Heroes Party sounds so soothing, and relaxing. So I found them, they're really easy to like but so hard to find. Gems like this are always hard to find.
I’ve been following Porter since he dropped Language and followed Daijiro from Uchu Conbini to JYOCHO. It’s so cool to see these two seemingly complete separate worlds coming together. It was just announced that JYOCHO will be playing at Second Sky in California, so thanks to Porter I might actually get a chance to see a band I love but never even considered that would ever play a show in NA. This got really long winded but thank you Porter and JYOCHO for all these years of music and this awesome opportunity.
@@AtuwOfficial Awesome, I did too! I've also been a fan of Porter and Jyocho for years. Porter since about 2015 and Jyocho only for a couple years. Not as long as you've been a fan of them, but I still love them nonetheless!
Such an exceptionally beautiful song😊 and while I've yet to look for the song meaning, I could guess what this song's about judging by its title and its MV😁 Btw, a JYOCHO song featuring Yvette Young would be an amazing thing to be happened for me😁
@@SuperFashi Ikr😁 Imagine on that song, Yvette Young doing fingerstyle and tapping together with Daijiro and then she's start to play her violin together with the flautist and singing in harmony with the singer-keyboardist. Imagine the magical beauty she could give😊😆
Ohhh so this is what Uchu Conbini became afterwards! 😍😍😍 ahhhh she has such an enchanting voice, even their first album that was a bit more 'raw' but still hit so hard with its melodies. This group also compliments each other very well ❤ amazing sounds you guys, you have an ardent fan in East Texas!!!

Heck yea the sound of the music sounds like what the meaning of the lyrics are. Or they give off the same emotion? Idk I thought so anyways after seeing the lyrics. Jyocho is great!

Another soothing track from this amazing math rock band!
Plus another awesome riff melody from Daijiro Nakagawa o/
Can't wait for the release of the album!
JYOCHO's compositions are always fun to count 😅
I'd consider the 6/4 parts to be 12/8, but otherwise I agree ^^
