@@Necrostoner Depends if you count alcohol as a drug (which it technically is) as he's had DWI's since then too. But hopefully he's since cleaned up from his addictions so everyone can move on.
I met Edge 10+ years ago when the WWE were in Australia, taxi driver dropped him, Trish stratus and Test off at the wrong nightclub, Edge tapped me on the shoulder and asked me how to get to where they needed to be, I didn't recognise him at first and for a few minutes while talking with him was wondering why people kept looking at and pointing at who I was talking to.

There is a wrestling based youtubber channel called GoodMicWork where the creator of that channel has said that a car rammed into his car or something and both Edge and Chris Jericho were in that car and started apologising to him about the situation of what happened and he mentions how cool it was to meet Edge and Jericho and how friendly they were.
Edge is a really nice person. Maybe it's the Canadian in him..lol. I've heard so many stories about how Edge has been great to fans

I literally teared up and got so excited when he came back. Seeing the look on his face is what really got me.
You could 100% tell that was legitimate. That was a real special moment. Edge will go down as one of the greatest.

I absolutely despised Edge as a kid, which in hindsight of course means that he did his job well, and once I started to really appreciate him he had to retire so seeing him return after all that was definitely one of the coolest wrestling moments to me

I was at that show he won his first IC title at the Skydome. It was a crazy moment, this women next to me was crying. He's a special dude

To call it anything other than SKY DOME is heretical and sacrilegeous.
I got to know Rob Zombie and Alter Bridge from him when I watched WWE as a kid.
I knew Rob from White Zombie in the 1990s but AlterBridge was from Edge.

I literally just purchased a Ladders Match DVD because one of the matches included is the first ever TLC match featuring The Hardys, The Dudleys, and Edge & Christian.. It is my all-time favorite match.. Watched it as soon as it arrived and that match still holds up as one of the best ever!
I just want Edge and Christian to do a cameo on Letterkenny. They've mentioned wrestling in episodes, they're all Canadian. It would be classic.

Around 4 minutes in, this got me thinking "god what I would give to not be pidgeonholed into a certain thing." Edge really is an inspiration and I'm glad to see him killing it in AEW right now.
Edge is awesome. He’s a great professional wrestler. As an autistic male who grew up during the Ruthless Aggression era, his feuds with the likes of Undertaker (who’s my favorite professional wrestler) and John Cena were awesome. Edge can be a great heel and face. His promos are good. His spear is good as well. Edge is charismatic. He has a kickass theme song. Edge is awesome. Other than that, cool:).
I'll never forget that shocked look on his face after that match with the blood in his eye.

I’ve got to give credit to WWE for getting me into the metal genre. Ever since I heard “This Fire” years ago, Killswitch Engage since then has always been my favorite band. I listened to all their albums and I stay updated on what they do these days.
Honestly adam cole could be the guy to top edge in most matches in tlc or come close to it. If he ever goes to smackdown or Raw. He gives me tlc vibes tbh. I know he has the most war games matches since it came to nxt

That hardcore match Edge and Mick Foley had is probably my favorite wrestlemania match.
My older sister actually met Edge when she was a teenager! From what she said when she met him. He was a very sweet guy. I think my mom still has the picture somewhere in my house.
Its a long shot but one day I hope he does come out to The Brood entrance, which is the best entrance ever!

So glad that Edge is back! 10 years ago he retired and last year's rumble return is amazing. So excited for Wrestlemania 37 the main event for night 2 Edge vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns will be one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches ever!

Back in the day when I actively used to watch WWE, I was a John Cena fanboy & always hated Edge with all my heart due to being a edgy child. But now that I have matured I feel like that Edge used to be a phenomenal wrestler & above all seems to be a very down to earth chill dude. And Im the most grateful that the WWE has introduced me to some of the finest Rock/Metal bands & further shaped my taste in awesome music.
Thank you Edge for introducing me to Alter Bridge. Especially their song Blackbird is a all time classic I regularly listen to.
I have never forgotten the first time I saw Edge: at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario, back in (I think) May 1995. He opened the show against Bob "Sparkplug" Holly, and I think he was called Sexton Hardcastle. It was many years before I realized it was Edge, but it was only one of two standout matches that night (the second was Lawler vs. Razor Ramon). He came out to Pantera's "Walk" and his headbanger behaviour was unforgettable. He probably did the Running Man dance, but I also remember him bouncing around like Sebastian Bach. Awesome!
UPDATE: Now that I think some more, I think he actually called himself "Pantera" that night. He also got some good offense against Holly. And after he lost the match and Holly left the ring, Edge did one last dance for the crowd. He was a hit!

I'm actually happy with Edge wanting to tell a different story from the TLC matches now. I thought his technical match with Orton was really good and I'm not opposed to seeing more of that. I also think in the whole Reigns vs Edge vs Bryan deal that, even though it's considered heel-ish, his character has a good point about winning the royal rumble and the fact that WM should be a one on one match.
(then again: I realize I like all the wrestlers involved in this triple threat match atm. I like Reigns as a heel. Bryan can make anything look good. And Edge adds Edge to this. Just that it's a Triple Threat match... That's what I don't like. LOL! I feel like Reigns will spear Bryan to win. And Edge will lose without really losing. Which is why, sometimes, I feel like Jim Cornette's version of the Triple Threat Match - where the first pin is an elimination not an auto-win - is the slightly better of two evils.
Ofcourse this could possibly build into a really good - even bigger - Bryan vs Edge feud, after WM. Which can never be bad imo)

I totally understand Edge not wanting to do any more TLC matches. As awesome as it would be to see him in even one more it’s simply not worth it. I would rather see him wrestle 5 less dangerous matches than one TLC match or one bad TLC match and tarnish his reputation in TLC matches.
