Best of luck to all those who are still alive in this tournament!
I was very much on track to coming in second this game but a key error in the late game allowed me reopen a path to victory.

Never would I have thought I would watch online Risk. Now I've watched 4 rounds in 2 days lol
same and I never even played risk, I dont actually know the rules tbh but this is great
Yeah,, not how I saw my Saturday being spent
same lol
@@yaronlavi16 Same, watched a couple now it's all over my suggested
Same for me. XD
When it seemed like like black might have ruined your game it was nice to see you get excited about what a good move it was. A lot of us in that position would have just got mad that we got bodyslammed 😂. Good sportsmanship, great recovery and well played!
Well said
He very nearly did ruin my game, but that's the game. I can't allow myself to get down by that in the moment. I had to play to my outs and in this case it worked out well.
I pride myself on being a good sport. We're all here to learn and have fun. As always it's better to be luck than good.
This
Prob took me 30 seconds to realize the map was skull and bones.
@@jeromilittle I only just now noticed after reading your comment
Poor green, I can only imagine how they felt grabbing the wrong army there. :(
He would
Spoiler alert...
Go on to place second that season.
Absolutely insane turnaround there.
Trapped in the corner, knocked out black, capitalised on green's mistake and having enough cards to just roll over green at the end. Couldn't have been more clutch.
Just a small technical error from a player who has proven themselves as one of the best. Luck was on my side!
He got so excited he started glitching out of reality.
Yeah. He really needs to chill.
Great game Pete. I was surprised that so many opponents made these kinds of mistakes in R4 (staying in one location, not spreading out, etc.) The move black made on you was so good. Tim messing up that kill gave you 8 extra points which is amazing. but overall great job by you in this game.
I think I got a lucky group this week. The one key error at the end was the most impactful and I'm lucky I was in the position to take advantage.
I needed those 8 pts for sure.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy yeah great job by the beginners in the game getting to that point
It's games like this that make the game worth playing 👍🏻🏆
This is the most entertaining match I've seen yet
Yep, Timothy almost had this one in the bag 🙂 had he sent his largest stack to defend the kill in the bottom, i do believe he would have had it. What a great round 4 show 💥 this is the kind of nailbiter videos that can attract an audience, and more competitors to sign up for the next tournament 👍🙂
The block with the 38 stack would have been the move I think after closing his path on the yellow kill. I agree.
I hope next season is bigger as well.
The 1st match I. This series had me wanting to play, the 2nd had me download and join discord. ^_^
The way his clicking got more energetic at the end with every kill
I get very excited.
30:40 ahahahahah your best reaction I've ever seen on this channel i freaking loved it 😂 amazing game!
It was amazing, honestly deserves to become a reaction gif.
Lol! I was so excited!
I'm still trying to figure out why I find this channel so entertaining, and I think those moments are why.
Plus his immaculate game IQ.
I'm a newb, can someone explain to me what happened there? How did green fuck it up?
@@camipco By attacking with the 7 troops from top, he cut off his own 38 stack to the right and didn’t have enough troops left to finish off yellow.
He should have moved with the 38 stack instead.
A suggestion for future tournaments: could you have a visual of the tournament standings/points/system and such if possible? It can be hard to keep track of what effect each possible outcome has without a visual.
HOLY SHIT WHAT A COMEBACK I'm loving watching these rounds at work
Yeah man, Had to get pretty lucky there!
That’s 21 points *claps hands* let’s flipping go guys YES AHHAHAH
"I'm sorry" backfired big time, invited the preemptive strike lol
Haha
I still got lucky eh
Hey I just got your videos suggested in my feed, love the game! it is really interesting watching someone who is really good at the game, we used to play classic risk for hours on end when we went on vacation as a kid
Not sure how I found you, only ever played one game of risk OTB. Now, now I think I found a new obsession.
Welcome!
I can't believe green fked up there he had it in his pocket! Good job capitalizing on it too Pete.
There are a lot of points of failure with high level progressive. I suppose his intuition there that 7 v 7 is worse than it was was the key error. With a little more time to think a few slow rolls would have made the difference.
Super play.I love the sportsmanship. Your strategising and speed of thought/game is topnotch.;)))
Super cool. I just started watching since game 1 of this tourney was recommended to me the past couple of days. Great content dude! Even though risk was one of my favorite games growing up, I never expected it to be so intense and engaging at the highest levels of play
That was absolutely intense, gutted I wasn't able to watch this live. Congrats man.
I assure you, it was intense for me as well!
@@TheKillPeteStrategy I can imagine, I'm certain you didn't convey even half of how it felt. GG's again.
Dude is like pro wrestler intense.
"What are you gonna do when Pete runs wild on you??!!!!".
I have been told I'm pretty intense yeah.
😄 You now need a signature move right before you press the button for the final merciful time.....
Really great game to watch, black removing you from top right was genius and green screwing up the win, what a result for you! Played well all the way through, gg mate
It did make for some very interesting television.
Hi Pete, I've been so invested in this tournament and I've watched from Round 1 and plan to keep on watching, loving the videos. You and your videos are making want to play risk for the first time. Thank you ggs Pete.
Do it!
Hey man, heard you saying all things being equal a lot and it reminded me of my economics classes. Heres a saying for you! ceteris paribus. It's latin and it makes you sound real fancy! thanks for the great content love the videos!
What does it mean?
Is it weird that I enjoy the beginning and the strategy that goes into it more than the end??? Love the whole video yes but that’s just me!!!
Ohh yeah absolutely awesome !! What an end !
I've been watching one or two of these tourney games a night and they've been super intereting, especially since I haven't looked ahead to see if you make it to future rounds or not. Really cool content, I'll have to catch a stream
Well then I won't give any spoilers.
bro... watching your vids made me buy the game for the xbox! loved this game as a kid, really enjoying getting into it again 💪😎
🙏
Great recovery! I love how this game is so unpredictable!
i started watching your videos after work while eating. it is really relaxing. thank you pete 💙
Pete banging rails before Risk like a boss.
Lol
@@TheKillPeteStrategy
My suspicions were correct😏
21:40
You were so excited hahaha
Can't be mad that they tried to kill Pete. It's literally what I've been telling them to do! haha
Great game pete, thanks to tim that gives you more points for fucking it up by his self. But yeah you deserve it as the famous risk player
I definitely don't think about it in terms of deserve. I'm just happy I was able to pay off the good luck when it happened.
Thanks for the kind words Sam.
Well played Sir, always a pleasure to see your videos. I felt a bit sorry for Tim... one misclick or not seeing the right path can cost you the game... but that's the game. Looking forward to the next round :)
Tim could have blocked yellow with his 38 stack but I guess he didn’t see it
Right, 38 stack in the left bottom corner and yellow would be close to impossible to kill for Pete (unless amazing blitz rolls)
@@patrykmarynowski6609 True, that should've been his move...
Thanks Kazaam!
I'm looking forward to next round also.
I saw the 38 stack block after the fact. I think this would have been the correct line of play for Tim after succeeding the blitz roll and blocking his army. But then we would have seen yellow set in and the game could have opened up.
Shame i missed this live while taking a nap when waiting for my tourney game. Glad you did well!
Not too worry JK. I bet I would have put you right back to sleep.
I thought green was winning it all and then suddenly the comeback. Such a hype game.
He _was_ winning and then he misplayed his attack and blocked off his own army
Redemption after the last round! GG
LETS GO PETE
When you killed black the game became yours, well played!
I was laughing when green threw the sweep away
What a goofball
Yeah that was a mistake he wasn't gonna make again
holy shit man, what a rollercoaster win
Very good game Pete, congrats
I'm no expert, but it is a wild advantage to play first. especially in later stages of the game. The makers of the game need to balance this somehow.
In progressive I think this is somewhat balanced out, as the value of cards goes up- but generally yeah- someone has to though, like in chess xD
Just to qualify this I might be totally wrong, I played a good amount of risk years ago, but I'm rusty as hell now.
Nice surprise ending!
never thought a moment in a risk video would make me audibly yell HOLY SHIT
Haha yeah that was a good one!
Love the energy
My pleasure.
These tourneys mean a lot to me so I'm really trying to do my best.
What a comeback.
Great game!
Well played! What a game
Thanks Name K!
Hoping for similar luck for R 5
LFG! Hell yeah! Great game!
Ohhh baby! Thanks Keith!
what an ending omg
Damn goooood shit Pete! That was a hype ending!
Greens a paid actor 😂😂 love you Pete ❤️
Lol. Perhaps...
Love you too!
Perfect execution
Nice complement, but what would you know about Risk. I, on the other hand, am an EXPERT player (bows).
@@SR-xv8de I'm only a former top 11 gm not much xD
@@riskmastergabe5744 😂
Yes, what would YOU even know about Risk?!? Lol
Man I found your stuff and I haven’t enjoyed risk this much since watching JeromeASF keep up the great work
Did you find it or did it find you haha?
Cyberhook background is dope.
you are the chad version of memeio
Watched it live it was so cool!
Too bad next week is fog so I can't stream live.
This is crazy
I dont really like risk and i have no idea how i ended up on this video but apparently its been 40 minutes and somehow still here - so from a random person on the internet > well done on being quite captivating there mr kill pete!
Thanks!
that was a clutch win
Bhutan! Represent.
omg green .. he sold ffs gg really intense game aight next round speed running it Lol im gonna watched this all in 1 day
What a win!
Popped off so hard you glitched out the camera! 😂
Let’s go!
Wooooo!!!
GG!!!
lady luck sacrificed round 3 for this lmaooo what a comeback !!
True story!
hey Pete great video, I'm new to risk and after playing a few games I've started to notice at end game when only 3 players are left a lot of the time the two players with more troops end up battling it out giving the third player an easy win do you know any way around this somewhat common occurrence? no worries if you don't its a bit of a specific question lol, love the vids man thanks for helping us newer players out.
This depends a lot more on if we're talking about fixed or progressive.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy This happens when playing fixed.
Clutch!
And by the way , I knew this would happen , exactly years ago . and it is proving my case .
Lol Tim?
Tim from the UK ..
Tim from the UK who plays risk...
Tim from the UK...who likes board games...
There can be only 1 ... It must be you!
The coincidence is just too good for it not to be you.
🤣🇬🇧👍
It's funny to watch this guy and his emotional triggers, his trigger reactions and his constant trying to suppress his endorphine overdose 😅😂😂😉
🙏
I LIKE USING YELLOW BECAUSE ITS MY FAVORITE COLOR AND IT SHOULD WIN
Yellow is my least favourite, but hey, to each their own.
It’s the same color as popcorn
unlucky placement i wonder how you will get out of it
The intro looks just like the dozen
I love the retro new wave look.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy same!
Nice
3:37 What does being the "fish" mean? Sorry I'm new to this and haven't learned all the terminologies yet.
Om nom
Is there a website or something where people can look at tournament results and leaderboards?
There should be
why dont you go for bonus troops on area's you control when turning in cards? (might be a stupid question, I am not a RISK player)
It's a good question. The way the cards increase in progressive means that taking a bonus might be too costly.
The game will end before you earn back the extra troops you lost taking that bonus.
How do I add extra emoji for fist bumping and others?
They appear for sale in the shop randomly.
Nice game. I love Risk but wife hates it.
🤣
Hey Pete, just watched the first 3 round and enjoyed it a lot but had a question. Sorry if I seem like a noob lol (never played), but shouldn't these tournaments be anonimyzed somehow because i feel like teaming could give a unfair advantage with people you may know in real life or even players realizing who you are during the mactch and opting to take you out on purpose?
Teaming is part of any free for all game.
An all anonymous tournament would be interesting.
Apparently, all the luck from Round 3 was leveraged into Round 4
Donovan The Cruel gets the win in my book ,😅😂
I liked his move a lot!
poor Tim he had that
Tim did allllright for himself this season.
Does Pete play the Steam version on desktop?
Yeah
I play mobile a lot too
@@TheKillPeteStrategy Thanks! I've only played mobile just just now started on Steam. Fresh start!
gg
GG Steve
Coke and RISK.
Acid!
can you show the rankings?
You can't see stats in ranked games anymore. Only PWF and unranked.
Hey , mr Pete , the confederates used your small section on how you cheered at the game in the video clip and used it on tragic moments with Japanese ghost .
What's this?
Poor green fucks up his take and also loses a crucial 5v1 hahahaha
That was such a rough roll
I feel like I just won the game 😂
How did he F it up, by attacking with the smaller force?
The accidental low odds win.
Not to worry Tim would go on to be vindicated that season
JUST GOT IT FOR FREE!

I would really like to keep watching your content, but I have one request. Please normalize your volume. You talk really low and then shout when you get excited and it is really loud since I have to turn up my volume so much to hear you talk 95% of the time.
🙏
Why do you have your country be Bhutan i dont think you live in the country of Bhutan.
I don't believe in nations and this flag has a dragon on it.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy dont believe in nations? Crazy weird and strange.
@@doughensley6202idk why but „crazy weird and strange“ made me burst out laughing😂😂😂
did he fucked up the kill??
Are you on LSD in these games?
Not when I'm playing 🤣🤣🤣
@@TheKillPeteStrategy lmaooo
So round one got a little boring at spots
And you lost round three. Otherwise everything great.
Dude is this channel owner on coke? He is an extraordinary player but he seems super energetic lol
I drink a lot of coffee.
@@TheKillPeteStrategy That‘s good, since I drank a lot of it too I switched to decaffeinated coffee considering the caffeine content. It feels safer for the heart👍🏽😄
