See more? Just play it! I'm so glad BAR has broken the mold, I was playing it before Winter picked it up and it was hard to start a lobby, now you can drop in games any time of day. It's so great.
Having so many players is awesome as well. When we go to Arenas with 4 or 5 people on our team, it is easy to see those that are carrying and those that are being dead weight. Resulting in more toxicity. 25 players mean it is much harder to tell people apart. Only the collective exists. I want to play this.

crazy how well this game is made especially by community members. Even at 12-20 fps that Winter is getting while spectating. It still looks highly playable. But I guess back in the day og C&C ran at like 15fps and that was fun to play.
That was insane to watch with so much going on no one would be able to keep up with it all. You did great, kept from being overwhelming with information but still showed/explained so much to us. Thank you for this video
Was a fun game, but I choked on building out resources in the winter to stop the assault. Thought we were coming back at one point... lol. That was me at 56:30 underwater with the com. Was hoping to Dgun from shore, but the battleships went by too fast. =[
Those "RTS intense focus headaches" xD I know what you mean. I go longer than that, but it's definitely a genre that makes me feel like I need to go lie down and just breath for a while, after a few hectic matches. I had a single free-for-all match last 5 hours once. The final two hours were spent fighting this last guy. It was hard to tell if it were more a battle of attrition in-game, or mentally. I eventually came out on top. Was glorious.
I use to play this game back in the late 90s. Supreme Commander was a lot of fun but Total Annihilation was the start. I still have some boards stuck in my head. lol.
I love the idea. I want to love the game. But I need to start smaller, so I can understand whats going on. I don't play starcraft, BAR, TA, ext. Im a stellaris player lol. So while a lot of this looks familiar, its not all coming together enough to understand and enjoy a 50v50. Like watching a 4 team free for all foot ball match when you play tennis.
Yeah, definitely go look for some smaller games to get a better idea of what's actually happening. You'll see more comprehensible tactics going on there, compared to the big macro tug of war that this game was.
This is what rts games should be like. This is a game by gamers for gamers. I want to see more of it.

You should see how it looks on a regular 8v8, when both teams go heavy on trying to out nuke each other. The whole battlefield lights up, with nukes exploding overhead like rolling thunder. : P
( Due to the particle limit getting capped with the crazy 50 player game, we were sadly missing out on a lot of the explosions and effects in this particular vid.)
@@UnknownSquid there may have been a lot missing, but no crash for all that action is impressive.
@@DiscipleofVenser1992 Yeah, the game runs amazingly well, and even in the rare event it does crash, makes it easy to just boot up the game again, rejoin the same lobby and take back your units. Is a massive breath of fresh air after how much of a pain Supreme Commander can be if someone drops.
I will watch anything you broadcast, but this was very different and also very interesting.
Thank you!
Thanks Winter!!! THat was a Great video! Watched the whole thing! :D I think your points about making videos are spot on. DO what you enjoy and record everything. I do a youtube channel (another account) and I also feel overwhelmed sometimes with wanting to make MORE content. LOL but You do a great job! Love star craft II and this game! keep it up man!
57:40 Best highlight by far
If you got any more 1v1 BAR pro battles that have gotten to tier 3, I would gladly watch it. My favorite BAR cast.
I feel a disturbance in the force....like 50 cpu all cried out in pain
ngl, this shown up randomly in my feed, and happy it did, this is lookin like an rts i can get behind and try out (im not good at them but i thoroughly enjoy them)
This game already feels incredibly deep and FUN. I can't wait to see it continue to grow ❤
Madness like 57:35 will never get old
Looks so much like supreme commander, I love it
Tthe commentary is really good and enjoyable, I honestly do not know how you've managed to explain a 50 player battle and for it to stay logical haha
I would love to see more Beyond All Reason content from Winter
Would love to see you cast some "actual" Total Annihilation (probably with the resolution / ui mods that fix the high resolution stuff) or Supreme Commander!
There's some re-make of TA with modern coding. I think it's called TA Forever. That might be getting mixed up with SupCom's Forged Alliance Forever fan-managed client.
I absolutely loved Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander
That scale of players in a single rts game is amazing. thx for casting.
Thanks for showing off this game, definitely giving it a try!
Love the fact that the game have phases. It start off from your standard warfare to just full blown titan warfare
crazy how well this game is made especially by community members.
Finnally ! I love your BAR content, watched all your videos on the other channel !
I wish you would cast or play more, that would be awesome !
Simply the best RTS I played the last decade. Such a shame RTS games always give me headaches after 1-2 hours of gaming.. 😩
Those "RTS intense focus headaches" xD
I know what you mean.
Winter pronouncing Chisato as "Jizzato" made me laugh over and over.
This is awesome, would love to see more casts of this.
I use to play this game back in the late 90s. Supreme Commander was a lot of fun but Total Annihilation was the start. I still have some boards stuck in my head. lol.
Respect Chisato.. fought really hard.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention! RTS should never die.
Yeah, he has casted some 1v1s, probably easier to start with.
Yeah, definitely go look for some smaller games to get a better idea of what's actually happening. You'll see more comprehensible tactics going on there, compared to the big macro tug of war that this game was.
