So much space? By the way, the economy seats are virtually the same in an A380 as in an A320 single aisle. I loved A380 when I was in business class. Larger seats than other aircrafts. And it has a bar. But in economy? No thanks. Takes you longer to disembark.
The A380 is a commercial succes, but not because its sales, but because of the luxurious identity he provided to airbus... we can say airbus began the major manufacturer AFTER the A380, but i'm not sure it would be the case if this plane had never existed ;-)
Not really. Airbus was already one of the two biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world. Believe me Airbus themselves would change the A380 concept to something else if they had to do all back. But let's be honest Airbus did not fail because it was supported by European taxpayers.
We Europeans tax payers are happy to have an airline that design and manufacture reliable aircrafts. Besides that, A380 program produced tons of state-of-the-art innovations now applied to the rest of Airbus lineup.

Maybe Airbus could start designing a somewhat smaller ( 2/3 capacity or so? ) and cheaper version based on all the experiences and the technologies of the A380?
Yeah now THAT makes SENSE:...it will be a big success. IF they have the backing to work GLOBALY on the largest airports. Rather than like most airlines in certain theatres. IF that is the case. And you want to become rich like apple backers...buy stock of this firm. Again. IF the premisses i set are given. Ill look into it.
There will never be an A380 Neo. The factory is building other aircraft types, The tooling is gone, the supply chains are gone and an order for 150 of them wouldnt get close to making a neo economically viable. It would take orders for at least 500 before it would even get close to viable.
It was a ferry flight from the storage area in the desert to prestwick with an overnight stop in Toronto. No passengers and was flown the whole way with the landing gear down.
Global is flying their first a380 on a 4 leg trip and yesterday roof off drone the vine yard. Global airlines is flying it in china southern colors because it came from the bone yard
at least, it operates, in contrast to the 777 X, and fills the gaps for the time being. So, let's see when the 777 X will finally come an whether there is still a need for a plane like the 380
starting with an a380 is crazy
indeed
It’s crazy enough that it might just work
😳
I saw a global a380 the other day on flightrader24 it was the china southern airlines livery
Ikr
Ya without customer loyalty
I love the 380 so much. Very quiet and so much space.
until an airline decides to squeeze more rows in

@@Samir-dy6le I would rather have Airbus being funded by taxpayers than flying on a Boeing.
Its also the king of the skies..

It really wasn't a success
How to become an airline millionaire, start with a billion
I hope this works out because JFK can finally have a380 service to London.
Doesn't British Airways already do this with A380?
@@capivara9016nope, 777’s do that route
Always respect the king of the planes
🙏🏻
YEAS!! The a380 is finally back!
I hope this airline makes it n the A380 makes a come back
BEAUTIFUL AND BEST IS THE A380. I DO NOT TRAVEL ON ANY OTHER AIRCRAFT FOR LONG DISTANCE.
Credits to them for trying to bring back the a380
I really hope this works out
The king of the sky has returned
Dude i found a global airlines a380 in flightradar24

Global airlines' smallest aircraft : 😈
Maybe Airbus could start designing a somewhat smaller ( 2/3 capacity or so? ) and cheaper version based on all the experiences and the technologies of the A380?
We need a neo i swear
Exactly
naw it’s too late their only major customer will be emirates
It won't happen. Quadrijets are obsolete regardless of how efficient the engines can be, they cannot beat a 777 or a A350 cost-wise.
Yup right now the most tracked flight on flight radar is a Global A380
Yeah
Yep, supposedly the plane was in “beja” by 24 radar heading towards malta but thats an error
I suppose a route from London to new York with A380 is a good idea, but are you REALLY gonna make it your first airline route?
“Sir can we buy an Airbus A380?” -Kowalski
“Solid GOLD, BABY.” -Skipper
Timing was their downfall..if the A380 came out in the early 90’s then maybe it would have been far more profitable
This plane is a rolls royce.. ❤❤❤
People want to travel in comfort
Opening a laptop = entrepreneur
That will definitely happen but I think they won’t have that big of an success
It'd be nice if any gates in Denver support the A380
This better work this is amazing
I think i saw an A380 today
air india may buy it in the coming years
Global will be bankrupt
True
Depends how much funds and how Rich the owner is
says the Boeing fanboy
@@animaxima8302shut up
@@animaxima8302 it's not about being a fan of Boeing or Airbus. 4 engines aircrafts are just not profitable with fuel being as high as it is.
Aviation ceo need to fire the employes
now Adam from Etihad can fly the plane again!
Thx to global!
One of the old china southern planes is parked at prestwick ready for its new colours
I hope it can serve Clark, Manila And Cebu

*we beating emirates smallest plane with this one*
How bout Starlux they started with the a380 also
Emirates wants 150 of them
If they do neo
And 2 other airlines
Total 200-250

Ummm…they’re not making any more, so that won’t be happening.
On flight radar 24 yesterday they did they’re first commercial flight 🎉🎉
I’m not sure if it was a commercial flight but yeah saw that one too it landed in Toronto
it was definitely not a "commercial flight"
It was a ferry flight from the storage area in the desert to prestwick with an overnight stop in Toronto. No passengers and was flown the whole way with the landing gear down.
I’m going in the A380 in 2 days 😂
yes the Ex-B-6140 China southern A380
Rip 747, I was only able to ride it once 🥲
Might be time to book a trip to Frankfurt, Seoul or Beijing before they go away forever!
Some mf better do the same thing but with a 747
Fly emirates : “not today”
Now we need the queen back, the 747, king and queen.
Also, Airbus vs Boeing is dumb, they're equal.
A380 is the first dibble decker plane in the world because 747 is half double decker
The A380's problem was lousy US infrastructure at their airports. No American airlines bought the thing as a result.
I Actually Found A Global Airline A380 Flight Operated By Hi Fly Malta
It Took Off From MHV (Mojave) But Sadly It Didn't Say Where It Would Land
Callsign-9HGLOBL
REG-9H-GLOBL
Wow
that has to be oil money for sure
Why is it named global but only flys in London and New York
Emirates would have reach the 25b by them self
No four engine commercial airliner has a future.
The 747 did, not sure about the a340.
Comment of shame
Wells it’s June now so idk man
Global is flying their first a380 on a 4 leg trip and yesterday roof off drone the vine yard. Global airlines is flying it in china southern colors because it came from the bone yard
Making a plane that requires to modify airport infrastructure was a dumb move.
Global does not care about efficiency and wants to bring back the A380 for us to smile at:)
a very smile-worthy plane indeed 😁
I want!!! A220!!!! please
Are they getting second hand A380s?
They're certainly not getting them new 🤣 - haha yes I believe they have one ex-China Southern and one ex-Singapore Airlines
Best plane out is the A380 was upset they dropped them because of Covid so it’s nice to hear
People who are iphone user👍🏻

The A380 will never have the sales and the popularity as the Boeing 747.
W for global airlines
First comercil 2007 why so sort to rtired
ok but that livery sucks so much 😭 it’s like a default skin for msfs
Queen of the skies-747❤
King of the skies-a380❤❤❤❤
It dod happen
boeing 747 was only successful for its time, a380 wasnt in the right time
Short answer. No!
