  • Speed run spots were too busy for the TT02, so I stopped by this park to get a run in with the Fazer R. People were really friendly and loved the car, so that's a bonus. Hope you enjoy! ‎@Rangoli_rc ‎@bigbristv ‎@reitplace4765 ‎@Rcprescription ‎@poorboysrc ‎@MarkBryanRC ‎@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC #rc #rccar #scalemodel #rchobbies #rally #offroad #rcrally #rcforall #kyosho #fazer

    Nice shots and beautiful car. The shocks seem to do a good job.

      Thanks! I'm going back to this same spot after tuning the shocks and diffs. Should be an improvement in the quality of shots. I had a really hard time holding it straight here, but it looks cool 😁🫡

    Strong rip bro! I loved it when you found those dips that turned into jumps. Also That final shot when the dust cleared was bad ass👍✌🏼

      Thanks bro, I try to make it creative and stuff.. trying to remember what looks good with the music. Bigbris was right though, she's a squirrely Scooby and desperately needs a gyro. I'm probably gonna throw the 5900kv motor in there so she's definitely be out of control then😆 Glad you enjoyed!

    Squirelly indeed Sir..... but no where near as bad as a TTO2! 😂
    Great edit once again dude, loved the slow mo's, jumps and the dusty doughnuts at the end.
    Perfect soundtrack to I would say.
    Looks like yours runs a lot cooler than mine! 😂

      Hehe, glad you enjoyed it my friend. I'm definitely adding a gyro for future runs. It was impossible to keep it in a straight line at full tilt for more than a few seconds. I put the temp footage just for you as well, glad you commented on that because I was curious to see how it compared to yours! 😁

      Ah sweet, cheers for the consideration mate!
      I've not actually got any official temperature figures for mine.....
      I just know it's running s**t hot! 🔥
      I think I've sourced the issue though....
      The bearing on the entrance to the rear transmission is totally seized!
      The rear prop shaft cup has melted to it and the whole mutilated mass has been spinning around with no bearing motion whatsoever!
      Everything is now fused to the spur shaft, and the plastic around the prop shaft cup is all mangled.
      I'm guessing the resistance has put strain on the motor and esc causing excess heat, and eventually limp mode! 🤕
      Looking like I need a new spur shaft, prop shaft cups, bearing, prop shaft, upper diff casing and chassis, as the lower part of the prop tunnel entrance is moulded onto the chassis itself!
      To make matters worse, 4 of the hex screw heads have stripped and will have to be drilled out in order to take the car to bits.
      Also, the 4th set of tires have totally worn through.
      Spares availability in the UK is pretty poor, and its now looking quite expensive to.... all in all a major headache!
      Luckily I've got another 28 cars, this will probably end up being a full rebuild over the winter!
      As for the gyro..... I will be interested to see how you get on there mate!
      👍 👍 👍

      @@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC Oh Jesus.. that sounds bad and she's probably down for good. I'd get another car and keep that one for spares and skip the headache! Best of luck to ya sir, and good thing we have plenty of backup cars 😁

      Funny you should say that, I have been thinking the very same thing fella!
      Especially as this car has been heavily run for two years now, the front steering and suspension has developed a lot of slop due to the plastics wearing, and there can't be much left on the brushes at this point (obviously the stock motor is non rebuildable as it's a sealed can)
      But at the same time, I do enjoy a challenge, and I've rebuilt far worse cars from the eighties and brought them back to show room finish (959, Celica GRB, mud blaster, midnight pumpkin, clod buster, monster beetle etc)
      But these sort of projects are for the winter.
      I will have to have a think going forward..... potentially may even buy the chassis only kit that kyosho do?
      Also considering a full rebuild and upgrade it to rally spec, that could be a fun project!
      Time will tell, got so many projects on the go, and so little time!
      All the best matey. 😊 👍 👍 👍

    Nice gravel session mate 😎
    Im not a fan of the stock tyres they don’t work well for me on gravel or the woodlands area I run.
    Loved the old school tunes 🎉🎉

    • @scaleworksRC
      @scaleworksRC  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Maybe that's why she's so squirrely.. traditional rally block better?

    • @RallyandTrail
      @RallyandTrail 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@scaleworksRC yeah definitely more grip with rally blocks,sometimes too much but you can cut away some of the blocks to fine tune them . I like the Jetko Couragia tyres as well but pricey .
      You could also set the tops of the rear shocks to the inner most hole on the shock tower then set the bottoms to the outer holes on the arms .That will soften the rear for less oversteer , standing the front shocks up as vertical as possible will also help reduce oversteer 👍

      @scaleworksRC  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you, sir! I noticed in your video you reduced the sound almost completely and it makes the video better! Just a few shots have the motor sound for effect and it works great. The music is from a game called 'Art of Rally' and the artist is Tatreal.
