While waiting to buy a proper exhaust, I decided to install just the the exhaust tip. Link to the product: amzn.to/32saORy No HP gained but a better sound in my opinion!
ok for everyone saying it didn’t change the sound it actually did, it made it just sound a little deeper n more sporty. when driven it would sound different
lmaoooo no it doesnt. there's times you can do a resonator delete it barely changes the sound if you still have the stock muffler. Screwing on this 5 inch tip to the end didn't nothing. it's still 100% baffled by the catalytic converter the resonator and stock muffler. stop spewing bullshit because u foolishly screwed this onto your car lmao
I have the exact same tip on the same cat just a different set up. I threw it out the side. Mines actually loud tho and it’s a v6 Fs but it’s decent. Still got some high pitch but that’s where the tip comes in
No they aren't going to do anything except change the looks, because that all comes from the headers or cat back systems and is the most common misconception of these tips
AZ Independent yeah i know and i guess the ones who believe these tips make huge difference on the sounds after getting installed on top of the OEM exhausts ,are probably the ones not from this planet ...! 😂😂😂
That didn't change anything, and are designed to give the system a finished look. Sound comes from the headers, or cat back systems and is the most common misconception of these tips
I wouldn't say that they are a bad purchase altogether. Because they are made to finish off the look of an exhaust system, so they do have their purpose and aren't a total waste. But as far as sound goes, that comes from the headers or cat back systems and certainly not a simple tip lol
Lol bolt on tips don't do anything other than better looks. I do real car modifications and know the difference between this ricey "mod" and an actual mod. Get a decent cat back at least, you can actually get good sound and marginal performance from it.

it didn't. It is just hole in it. It is maybe louder because exhaust is now "extended" and closer to person hearing it.
Nice buyers remorse

Great video, just what i was looking for.
Not the biggest sound difference. But definitely better looking!
Has it spit off at all
With the muffler sound is much better and more clear.Like very clean sound.Good job
Thanks!
Tips make a difference indeed… after having many exhaust configurations I admit it
Muffled the sound a bit to sound more sporty than loud. Headphones were used
stock and modded with comparison
paired this with a cold air intake got a decent noise change
The cold air intake will definitely add some growl
Looks great man 👍🏼
1:26 exhaust tip
1:02 stock
this helped a lot honestly

The bigger the tip the more echo the smaller the less echo, they work like a megaphone 📣
I bought this same one last week and mine definitely doesn't slide on as easily as yours. I couldn't even get it on at all. Wound up returning it.
did you try loosening the screws?
@@TrailRunn4r Yup. So much so they feel out.
It makes loud cars quiet and makes quit cars louder.
What year is your 4runner? Did you have to trim the original exhaust tip for the aftermarket tip to fit?
Erwin Rodriguez 2014. And no trimming.
sound monster!!!
straight piping will give the best sound change. If you don’t wanna do all they you can just unbolt the pipe right before the cats
That sounds like a bad idea
Straight piping it will make it sound like a honda civic. Just removing the cat will allow carbon monoxide to flow into the car when you are stopped.
No difference on the sound was it?
It did.. use headphones!!

😅😅
Actually there was a small difference in sound. Nothing compare to a new exhaust system though.
Sounds the same slight difference but it’s also gonna have a slight difference if you put a paper cup on it
Pointless comment
I fitted this on my 2016 corolla
Imagine doing this to a corolla lmao
What’s the name of the product?
moronic decision
What muffler tip is that?
Where did you purchase your exhaust tip?
Amazon
Do we have to cut the old pipe to install a new one or just clamp it together?
Just clamp it on the stock exhaust!
@@TrailRunn4rwill it work with crv
@@endlessthunder6161 most likely, it’s a universal fit
I would rather have this than have the whole muffler changed with a silencer. Not too loud and sound modified.
i have tuning exhaust but with poor sound. do you think it can little help ? may combination exhoust and end dc pipe should help?
Not sure what’s your setup, if you already have an aftermarket exhaust I doubt this will help, but given how cheap it is you can always try.
@@TrailRunn4r true ;) thx for your opinion
Does it affect gas consumption?
It doesn’t
what size is the exhaust tip? I’ve been trying to find one
You can find the link in description
Link to the tip you used?
www.amazon.com/DC-Sports-EX-1011B-Universal-Stainless/dp/B00GMNL36E
Does it fit on any car
I honestly think you should get a whole new exhaust system.
I put this on briefly out of curiosity. It sticks out too far, not good when off-roading.
thanks
Hi sir whats the mm of the oulet?
Not sure, don’t have it anymore
Should throw a litte lock tite on the screws inside
Where to buy this?
www.amazon.com/DC-Sports-EX-1011B-Universal-Stainless/dp/B00GMNL36E
Will it fit a Jeep Wrangler 2015?
My guess it’s yes since it’s universal but I cannot guarantee!
will this fit a 2021 tacoma SR5
Most likely yes!
Link pembilian
Do a video of you driving it please
Sorry I don’t. I removed it after a while because it was scraping a lot while off-roading!
Probably not worth it when you still have a muffler.
You have an exhaust leak coming from your your manifold, id start there.
Y the music on background u want to heard the sound not music
Different but not sure I like it
In this case, the best is stock!!
1:00 vs 1:25
more quiet
Igual nada de diferencia solo es para adarno.
There is no change
Not a good purchase
YouBlinked - for 12$ I think it’s ok. Eventually I will get a real aftermarket exhaust :)
YouBlinked - i think the look of it is more worth it than the sound
@@ForestWikoff Still sounds way better than stock IMO.

This tip will not fit 5th generation
that's not true, unless they recently changed design
No difference
There is but it’s very subtle

Totally agree, by the way no one is comparing this to a real cat back.
They’re not for sound people lol only for looks
