@@ChuuckKnightcould you possibly explain how you got yours, I am struggling with the idea of taking a credit score to a dealership and feel like I have been keeping myself away. If it’s as simple as ordering did you buy. Or can you just do it the long way with payments and order as well

I just got a 24 2SS Collectors with a manual transmission. It is quite a car. Discontinuing the Camaro as we know it is a shame and I’m glad one of the last ones is in my garage.

I have a 2023 Camaro 2SS. Also have a 2015 Camaro 1LT R/S. I think they are the best of the Camaro line. Btw Ferman Chevy is an awesome dealership. I purchased 3 cars from there. Great commentary too!

I've got a '23 2SS with 6MT, perfect combination. The 1LE is a waste if you just drive on regular streets but awesome if you plan to track.

I had a 22 1SS1LE and I didn't track it and I don't think it's a waste in any way. You can take it into the mountains and get on it knowing the capabilities are there to push it hard and test your limits. I sold the car because I was driving it way to fast and had to check myself and decided to let it go and that was not an easy decision as I had ordered the car to get it exactly how I wanted it and they weren't readily available at dealers anyway. I'm fighting the urge to get a ZL1 convertible with the manual, but I'm older now and have decided to slow my roll a little.But hold onto yours for as long as you can enjoy it, they are a blast to own.
Absolutely not a waste not only does it make the cars appearance far better it’s deff daily drivable no problem

@@1LE_CikoWaste for me. I can't even get up to the limits of the SS on the street, let alone the 1LE. Tires and brakes cost way more on the 1LE so for me, not worth it.
So I’m getting one next month but I was looking at a 2SS 1LE. I know it’s more luxurious and better for the track options but I was told it’s not fun to daily drive due to the suspension on the 1LE. What would you get!? Thinking of getting just the 2SS cause I can put mods into it and it is still a solid car!
The 1le is completely different. Big 305 in the rear, magnetic ride suspension, 3.73 rear, big 6 piston brakes, transmission and differential cooler. The 1le is a beast totally different from a regular SS.
I have a 22 SS1le that I daily drive every other week. When I don’t drive it I take my C5 out for that week.

How do you like driving the 1LE? I heard it’s hard to daily drive due to the tight suspension and you feel every bump on the road…… what’s your thoughts? I’m looking to get one next month. Have a deposit on a 2SS but not the 1LE but they have one at my dealer
@@kyletyra6257 If you plan to use it as a daily stick to the 2SS. The 1LE eats tires like no other, you might get 10k miles on a new set if driven carefully, that’s a big expense if you drive a lot of miles. The other issue is that the 1LE is a hot car for thieves, if not careful it will go missing and gutted for all the parts.
Over all a 1LE should be used as a weekend car and kept in a secure garage. My 1LE is averaging 5k miles per year. And yes the ride is really stiff.
@@kyletyra6257You cannot go wrong either way, but what you heard is incorrect. I factory ordered a 2023 2SS1LE. Rapid blue metallic, 6 speed manual transmission, etc. Delivered March 2023. Regarding the 1LE steering, ride etc., no issues whatsoever. Anyone who thinks this suspension is too stiff hasn't driven enough. UNLESS you choose to drive in track mode! Track mode is for the track. Anyone foolish enough to drive daily in track mode on the streets has no right to complain that the suspension is "too stiff". I leave mine in sport mode. It's perfect and actually very compliant. I pretty much daily my Camaro, with the exception of winters in Maine. However, I made one change before taking possession. I had the dealer swap out the summer oriented Goodyears for High performance All weather Conti Extreme Contact dw6's. Better ride, better wear and still grip extremely well. I can also safely drive during colder conditions. As I said, you cannot go wrong either way. The Camaro is a remarkable sports car, and only the truly ignorant bash it. IMO the 2SS1LE equals, and in some aspects, betters the C8 Corvette (and I'm a Corvette fan). Yes, the car is that good. A true joy to drive. And the sound from the performance exhaust is to die for. So don't let what you hear discourage you from the 1LE if that's what you desire. The car is as close to perfection as it comes.
I have a 24 2SS 1LE in transit ,Sharkskin metallic ,M6, red seatbelts &performance data recorder,Took 8 months so so far & I still don't have it in my possession (originally had a 23 ordered ) but it's coming.....
I ordered my 1ss 1Le in sharkskin back in march and picked it up october 31st, so I'm sure you're almost there!
@imjickrames I just got a call yesterday that my 1LE is scheduled for delivery in Wednesday (day before Thanksgiving) so I should have it Fri or sat,probably Saturday I will pick it up
I work at a Chevy dealer in sales, I ordered it in Early October and I came to found out that There were no allocations😭. I ordered a 24 red Camaro 2SS 6 speed with the red interior, same black wheels this one has and the sunroof and performance exhaust. So bummed out I couldn’t get my order built…
what would be nice to know is the panther production numbers
i liked the "in cabin" camera to show how the car actually accelerates and decelerates by your body movements. The one you were caught off guard was best. I have a 2SS and cannot put to words how this LT1/10speed combo is nearly perfect. Cooled seats are a must! I feel bad for those buying a 1SS

Tell Zach and his manager at Ferman Chevy in Brandon FL to mark that car down now since it was beat on before it was broken in, especially considering some people might be buying that as a collector's item, to them.
I broke my 22 2SS 1LE in right, like every car I owned, only doing pulls into mileage landmarks. The 1LE is the option to get on a 1SS or 2SS, to not get it is kinda crazy, unless you don't have the funds.

If you don't mind me asking, how come you got rid of your Camaro?
There were many reasons. The main reason was that there were a couple potentially costly maintenance/ Repairs (Brakes, A/C, and electrical to trunk) which would all together run me about $3-4k. I was able to get $3k over my buyout, which I wanted to put towards my down payment on a 2024 1SS, but with a 7.7% interest rate being the best case scenario, that 1SS ended up costing just as much at the end of the term as my Ram which stickered $20k over what the 1SS would’ve cost. After about a $12k discount, $3k towards my down payment with my Camaro trade, and a 2.9% interest rate, I felt it was just far smarter financially.
I have a 2023 1LS Camaro I like it.

I have a 16 2ss manual and it is amazing. I could never own an automatic sports car. My 2ss has crappy tires and will roast them through third and break them free at 5000 in 2nd. The no lift shifting is phenomenal and the mag ride is really nice. I have pulled .86 g continuously on shitty streets that never get cleaned and felt total traction even with all season run flats. I have gotten the perfect launch once and nearly perfect once. With Pilots or Firehawks I could do 4.0 to 60 guaranteed.

I just buy the SS2 2024 Convertible and I love it, the only problem is that looks like they don't do to much and to get it I have to buy it on Jersey and I leave in NYC, I try to order in NYC and they needs to get approved allocation, that's can take months and is not 100% sure that you will get it. So I just saw one on transit that looks similar to the one that I want an call to the dealer, I made a deposit and get it. Also to get simple upgrades like rear and front guards, has to order on another state 🤦♀
Is a nice car, I can't wait for spring to come and drive it without the hood 😁
They did a side-by-side test with a 2023 BMW M2 and a 2023 Camaro SS and they were beck and beck that's sating a lot about the Camaro!
I still have my 2016 2SS, an awesome car. I wonder what the 7th gen will be and when it will be available for purchase.

I remember riding in the back seat of my friends 76 Camaro back mid 80's i had to just put my legs on the seat.

In my country you can only buy the 2SS. I order my Rapid Blue 2023 in July 2022 and the car was dilevered in April 2023. Cost about 85.000 Us. Dollars. i know i know what you all gona say, i could buy and ZL1 with the 1Le package. But in my country those are not available and if their where available the cost would be around 120,000 to 140.000 Us Dollars. it is what it is!! But i sure love my 2023 2SS and hell ya it is fast!

Funny that they don't complete the stripes on the roof. It does look silly and since the Camaro rides so low, every other driver on the road can see it. I can't understand how somebody would pay more for that as an option.

They are cutting on expenses to produce more electric vehicles but the Camaro will be back , it’s an American icon and it’s going nowhere

True, the difference between the two isn’t significant enough to justify the price when you can invest the same amount of money for the 1LE package.
I have to agree with you 100%. I have a 2022 1ss 1le 6MT. The 1le options that you get makes It look much better than the regular 2ss Camaro. It almost has everything that the Zl1has supercharger excluded. This talk if you're not taking it to the track, you wasting your money is crap. Mine will never see the track and I'm totally fine with that. Come on, y'all got to admit that the SS 1le is a bad mother.... shut your mouth. I'm talking about the 1le!!!😄
