I guess I'm either too dumb or too much of a beginner in the wodworking/manufacturing/building to get a grasp of this build. It was to fast for me to follow and there were to many small steps glossed over.. Does anyone know a good tutorial or "how to" series on You Tube for the absolute beginners in the woodworking?
Most real circular saws have a top guide that will do exactly that for a couple dollars. That's if the saw didn't come with it already. Do what you gotta do though.
It was amazing until I noticed where you put the handle. One slip and your finger could be in the blade. Modify the handle with a guard of some sort and then you'll get 10/10
Uhm, the circular saw comes with a ripping guide. It is smaller, lighter and you don't need to fabricate anything. Plus, you must rely on the edge, which many times isn't straight.

Do what you gotta do though.
Instead of using screws for assembling the frame please weld them if you have aluminium welding facility. Hope you understand my points. Best regards
