Hello Team Wittmann! Glad to see everyone came out on the other end of DTC 100 more or less unscathed. The Edison collection is more than impressive, it is damn unprecedented! As for the boxes, in this episode, I enjoyed all the unusual pieces. Great content as always.
I liked the little piece on someone else's collection, even if it wasn't militaria. It's a fine collection with all quality items. A real pleasure to see. I hope you do more like this just for a change up of things.
13:10 Those look to be chinstraps for german helmets in just about mint condition. The one with the brass locking rings on the ends is for a WW1 M16 helmet.
Well done on spotting the maker of the ground Röhm, Ob. What a wonderful piece! I love listening to you and your dad exchanging thoughts on these items. Thanks to you two my knowledge has expanded greatly, though I don’t think I’ll get close to catching up with either of you? 😂 Keep on posting these superb videos, fantastic Allach also! 👍👍👍
Wow, that collection is super impressive and, clearly, took a lifetime to collect. I'm really blown away. I love antiques and that is one incredible collection.
The state of the wear on that SS Ring almost makes one think that the man not only wore it from '36 to '45, but for the rest of his life into very old age!
I wish her luck. What a collection. 16:00 The Bob Burns Cutter. The answer to all your problems. 😃 1:20:50 I've always heard that anything that says "MADE IN", was made for export. Great video guys.
Helmet chinstraps. Those with the brass looped ends are shako helmets. Most likely police. Look to see if there is a MFG mark and date on the end that goes into the buckle.
Tom - will there be a big Black Friday sale? You know "Tom's Bargain Bin" - "Free Elephant Rides For The Kids" - "Free Roast Beef Sandwiches" - "Guys All The Free Beer You Can Drink"1
56:13 SchuMa (Schützmannschaften) shoulder boards. Left seems to be Schützpolizei enlisted man and the right Sicherheitspolizei enlisted man. (1943-1945) Schuma was essentially Non-Germanic helpers serving the Polizei in occupied areas in the Baltics and Ukraine. These guys were heavily involved in the Final solution. IMO highly collectible and still affordable compared to other TR branches. Next one is a DRK arm patch.
Wonder if Tom realizes that before he nicknamed it the Bob Burn’s Cutter it was a known as The Box Cutter… After Rob cut the Police Sword out, He said idk guys if the Bob Burn’s Cutter is gonna work after cutting that big box like it’s not meant to cut boxes 😂
In my collection, I have a really nice canteen, except it's not German. It's an American and its dated 1945 and on the cup. In what I think may be pencil it has a guy's name on it
Man, what a nice collection of Edison and fire fighter items. Must be worth a small fortune. Wonder if you’ll be able to sell in one lot? Very interesting round NAZI banner/flag? Never seen one. The history lessons continue from Mr. W. 👍🏼
How rob gets home should be an episode to itself.

Another good unboxing video! You never know what will pop out. I have never seen a ring worn down as much as that one (1:03:50)
"Really gotto be careful with this stuff.." [lights and smokes a cigar right over it] lol...

That guy really cornered the market on Edison Phonographs.

Never seen an Honor Ring like that - please report back next week if you find out more about it.
I would steer clear of the SS totenkopf ring
