Secret hidden government tunnel to a bomb store! Monkton Farleigh mine and Farleigh down tunnel

We travel back in time when we visit a secret tunnel used for transporting bombs until an unground bunker. We also explore parts of the mine which the mod didn't convert into a bunker.

WWII fortifications are incredibly boring. They were emptied of interesting stuff down to the last nut and bolt way before you were even thought of. What remains is empty space, mold, rotted wood and garbage. The darkness and quiet are the most interesting thing about them.

Mr Killjoy LOL, I went there in about '95 , accessibility was good then, you could explore the entire base and get into the mines through holes in the ends of some chambers. There was still a lot of interesting things to see even though there were no bombs to take home. History that's all that remains.
