Wow this brings back memories of the show, I always wanted to get the talking pull-string doll but could never get one. Until now.... It's good to be an adult 😂
As a kid the only pee wee toy i had was the pull string doll which was one of my favorite toys out of many toys i had but i pulled the string too much and i broke it. i guess after that i threw it out cause i still have alot of the toys i had as a kid but i don't still have that one, looking back now it was only the voice that was broken the doll was still good, i wish i kept it. I never knew there was a playset until i just saw this video or any other pee wee toys when i was a kid.

I finally found a pull string Pee Wee in a [new] condition and working voice box! Can't be any happier. What a nice Christmas it will be, haha (in Pee Wee's voice)
Never even knew there were Pee Wee figures, let alone an awesome play set. The only disappointing part of it seems to be there was no Jambi. I wish it was included.... Jambi: Wish?! Did somebody say wish?! Mecca lecca hi, mecca hiney ho! Seriously, though, awesome set. Definitely cool to see you open these toys up and liberate them from packaging.
I wish that the”picture phone”from the tv series was included in this play set. The picture phone is an important part of the playhouse. Bryce Garrett.
so awesome. they really don't make'em like this anymore. i googled up toy playsets, all i found were tedious lego sets, blue clues which looks cheesy, minecraft and other things that had that "generic fisher price" look to them. THIS is special for a reason.
We had this version of the box in late 1988/89. but a year or so later there was an outer box variant I have never seen before and still have not seen them online after searching all over the place. It was quite different than the original box like this one. Odd.
Just ordered tis set with all the figures. And so happy the first review I look up is from you Craig. I never had this one but excited to get it. Seems super cool! Year of the playset!

Were you not able to get Jambi or the Puppet land figures? They come together when you purchase them most likely from ebay. I have a playhouse but I beefed mine up with working lights, working clocky, plays opening theme song when the purple couch is pressed.
