    This is the art that not many people would know on how to simplify a topic so nicely and in simple ways. Excellent video.

    wow! I never thought that from my simple idea to setup and learn to fly a copter to eventually do some aerial photos would lead me to learn a lot of new things and dig a little deeper into electronics and IT stuff!
    Thank you, I enjoy your valuable videos every time :)

    I've flown quads for a few years now and work with mobile technology. Came looking for videos to share and explain concepts to coworkers - this brings things full circle since I often fly in the office 😅 Love the explanation!

    Nice throwback to the time I got into computers! Great explanation sir! Though I'm sure it won't be for everybody :)
    I hadn't actually noticed that boot-force option on boards.. Great info!

      Not planning to. Be aware that flying beyong visual range is illegal in many countries and the Taranis can easily do that. Happy flying!

    thank you for all the information. I'm about to start building my first quad, and I bought a CC3D board with openpilot only to figure out they split the company. I want to use cleanflight/betaflight or raceflight on the CC3D so do I need to use an ftdi adapter to flash the correct fw? thanks if you get this

    Good explanation.
    My apm2.8 fc can't load firmware. Mission planner firmware loading can't access the bootloader. How to make it read the bootloader again?
    Thanks

      Tricky to answer without knowing what troubleshooting you have already tried. There are some great articles on this in the Ardupilot documentation. Best of luck..

    Hello sir,
    I have a transducer measuring the temperature, once I turn it on Bootloader appears on the screen and go no where.
    Please tell me what does it mean? Is it means the firmware damage?

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No idea, usually a bootloader needs to be selected so you can flash the device. Best of luck

    if i wanted to put betaflight on my naze32 rev6, i have to download the BorisB file and flash the local firmware. But do I need to jump the boot pins to actually install betaflight

    • @Painless360
      @Painless360  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, it should flash just like Cleanflight.. Best of luck!

      @@Painless360 I did watch that series, great vids by the way, but couldn't solve this issue, there is no stable firmware that suppurts, I have got the same issue on both CC3D and Atom, if I use the latest LibrePilot GCS it recognizes well, but can't save the setting, if using the openpilot, cant recognize the boards, thank you

    • @Painless360

      The process is the same as we show in the SP3 series (but you need to select the right board of course). The process is in the manual here - www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjA0Ozl3N_QAhXhA8AKHXObBl0QFggaMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fseriouslypro.com%2Ffiles%2FSPRacingF3EVO-Manual-latest.pdf&usg=AFQjCNHIunH8nS0erYYD0E_qB6koYnz3Vg&sig2=T6hhJXkRRz2tIvIkYkiV_A

    • @Painless360

      +George Posey Short the two pins labelled 'BOOT' on the board. You should only have to do this rarely...

    • @odinata
      @odinata 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      When do you short it?
      For how long? At what point?
      My Naze32 rev 5 won't connect to cleanflight....

      I hold something metallic across the pads/pins as I power the board and hold it there for a few seconds. Best of luck!

    • @ChefxEvo

      Painless360 can you hold something metallic accross any pins? Or are there certain ones pins to touch together?

    • @Painless360

      That will work, make sure it's just the pins you are shorting.. Best of luck!
