Sometimes this video autoplays when I’m distracted. And I only realize what’s happening when Griffin says “As a teenager I suffered from severe depression-“. That moment is like realizing you’re hearing footsteps in your otherwise empty house only when the figure appears in your doorway.
I can only hope this does not start happening to me. It sounds terrifying. I am sorry for your... situation.

lol welcome to the club, I'm 31 now and started suffering from depression as a teenager. I've learned to manage it through less... non-garfield related outlets but yeah that shit doesn't just go away. You just age out of being young enough for people to pretend to give a shit then you're on your own.
So.... learn to cope, don't lose hope and just remember we all leave eventually so there's no point in rushing things; give life a chance to surprise ya I guarantee if you force yourself to keep living with it there's going to be some shit that you never saw coming. That has made it easier for me to keep on going but I get it, some days are impossible. When that happens just focus on getting through that, practice will make you more resilient and while medication didn't help for me you should at least give some of those a try if only to say you did that. Cognitive behavioral therapy can really set you up with some good resilience mentality models and those have been my most reliable resource so I definitely suggest that as a non-medication based alternative. Good luck.
