    9-19-15 Clean and sober! I started crystal in Hollywood back in the early 2000”s in the bathhouses because I wasn’t old enough to get into bars and going to the bathhouse seemed like a fun way to meet guys and get laid. Porn stars and hot muscle dads were offering it to my little twink ass and thus began my 15 year battle with meth/GHB and alcohol/pot addictions. Being sober for over nine years now from everything, has really opened my eyes to how fantastic sex can be so sober, so much better than under the influence of anything. I honor the sacred man inside me and get to explore sex and life in so many more meaningful, fulfilling, and HOT ways. Thanks for your video !

      Saying 'Folks, don't do drugs' in relation to this is extremely unhelpful, because you're equating all drugs with the horror that is Meth. And the only thing that you will achieve is causing people to just roll their eyes and think that Meth is just like any drug. It's not. And people should be free to use drugs if they want to and are able to do so responsibly. Just NOT Meth. Or G for that matter.

How far do you let your friends do whatever the fuck they want to do without confronting? Why does chem sex need to be a thing? Are we normalizing it? Great questions within the narrative.

    Love you Michael. 1 thing thats important though is that we not shame those that are actively addicted. Its hard enough being in the throws of it, but even harder to get out when your community makes you feel like an abomination. Most of the girlies Ive met that are in it were pressured by a current or former partner/friends. Education, harm reduction, and moral support are the best things we can offer as a community to those we know struggling with any substance issues. ❤

    • @kuryamtl
      @kuryamtl 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@MaxOakland Shaming someone is not going to get them to seek treatment , it will just encourage them to pull away from you and hide their addiction until it becomes unmanageable.
      We are all sinners in this world, and some of us fall into traps, either because of trauma, brain neurochemistry (people with ADHD have a higher incidence of addictions), influenced by others, or because we lack a community with meaningful connections, I think a healthy dose of empathy without judgement and expressing genuine concern without seeming morally superior is the start to any conversation about addiction.
      And if they continue to deny, it is on them, sometimes, it takes a crisis before we realize we need help. We are all fallible and nobody is perfect.

I got back with him, felt left out and soon did C, X and K regularly for a while. We were always wasted but I remember our group leader saying, “Do any drug, but not meth; it takes away everything.” This, while we were basically playing dial-a-drug!
    Later I saw that it was true. Everyone I knew touched by meth had a miserable time of it. I’ve moved on but learned my current husband had an ex who did meth and left him alone for days, on a bender. It makes me angry because I would never want to see him hurting like that.

    very sad.
    I have seen so many friends spiral on meth. and some die, and others get ill. it's a rampant problem in Texas.!
    and this video scenario is a true representation of this. a classic narrative.

    I really hope this trend doesn’t become normalized. I don’t do drugs, nor do my friends and I’d never consider hooking up with someone who didn’t take their health seriously.

    as someone who doesn't even do alcohol (not a tea totaller, it just doesn't give me anything) it's very uncomfortable that people (not just gays) often just try to pressure you into taking something. i don't mind if someone offers and when i say no thanks that's it, but people often become very whiny and the whole mood is ruined, plus it is sad to witness _and_ i feel like they are insinuating i might take advantage of them if they took something while i didn't. it's a big, saddening turn-off for me.

      @McWolfTx 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Yep, it isnt just the gay world either. I had a mix of gay amd straight friends and id see this play out often. I think they feel you are being superiour because you can enjoy yourawlf sober and they cant. But when I drank hard I liked having a sober friend watch out for me. LMAO

    • @fariesz6786
      @fariesz6786 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @McWolfTx that's my feeling as well. and i feel really uncomfortable when people act like i try to be superior when i really don't. and/or, as mentioned, maybe they are worried i am taking advantage of them (while i'm tied up in a sling.. erhem).
      and i agree, i would actually expect people to be happy someone's staying sober, provided it's a trusted friend, but even then some act like that's a bad thing.

      @@fariesz6786 you can never overcome peoples hang ups for them. But there is a case for putting up with decent people if they arent all bad/annoying. I have wittled down my friend group to my best friend and he us great but I miss being stupid with a plethora of people!

      @fariesz6786, sometimes hard-drug (heroin/meth/crack) users really, really, really, want you to use with them because you're still gainfully employed, with savings in the bank & good credit; they want you to "party" with them because you've still got disposable income and haven't pawned everything you own😬

    Just recently I watched the Aussie soap "The Horizon" (all 8 seasons in a week) here on TH-cam. No douze points/5 stars, but one important story line is meth addiction and getting 'n staying clean.

    Yeah, once it becomes an everyday meth thing it's too late. You aren't thinking clearly enough to tell someone you have a problem.

    Yeah I do not understand people who smoke and/or take drugs in 2025. Whether prescription, recreational. whatever. And yes, vaping counts as smoking. Whenever people reveal to me that they do any of these things, it's like they just said "I hit myself in the face with a hammer everyday because it feels good" and I just nod bewildered and change the subject.
