Actually, it’s about selling you more stuff. Regular cab 2 Wheel Dr. manual transmission, no ac crank windows even today would price less than $15,000. When you can sell a $60,000 vehicle with all the “options” no reason to sell a cheaper option
I made a comment above about the old trucks. The old trucks were better sized ( not so big) The video also talks about how the old trucks are better.:13 -:40 Didn't you watch the video??
A 2023 tacoma is the same size as a 2000 silverado Every guy that i personally know keeps buyng 20 year old trucks because they nothing manufactured in The last decade and a half is simple enough to work on yourself You're seeing a huge popularity on k trucks, as they fill the market that mini trucks did in the '80s and '90s.... Seems like at some point manufacturers would pay attention and make a small fuel efficient affordable basic truck that would disrupt the market
ok, nice cough then.. I love cars and i wouldn't buy an automatic EV, but wasting fuel like idiots? Your dump only because you drive a Pick up or SUV , and I love cars but i Love to breathe clean air too, ask to my Asma..
@saggioperduto_7566 if you think a new truck making 15mpg and tons of emissions crap that had to be made wont last 15 years and one day will have to be disposed of is better for the environment than my 32 year old dodge with a 12v cummins that makes 27+ mpg and is still on the road instead of rotting away into the earth in a junkyard then your idea of good for the environment and mine are very far apart

Sorry i Don't get It. Are you saing that a car that uses double the fuel buy last half the years Is more efficent for the environment? Or i got It wrong?
I would rather have an 80's short cab with an eight foot bed than anything they produce today.
Spot on, new subscriber here!

The old trucks were much better sized. The new trucks are so big they are the ones I fear the most.
The new pickup trucks are oversized and overpriced because dealers know American men are obsessed with pickups and will pay any price to get one.
Well, that was useless.
