I have seen all matches avainable on squashtv. Asal is really enjoyable to watch but still his attitude has to improve. Fares managed to develop his game. Compare Fares current game and some matches from 2016-17 for example vs Elias. Asal should follow. If not he will be 'trained' by Massarella.
Asal and other young players should certainly take a page on how to be a sportsmen from Fares. Well done Fares you are certainly an amazing gifted squash player with a bright future ahead.

Ever since Dessouky got smashed by Coll, losing 2 of the games 11-0, it appears he's changed his attitude completely..Supremely talented player but now with the mental attitude to win tournaments, he's going to be a tough opponent in every tournament he plays...
Top top player. I have been a fan of him for the last 4-5 years. But it has been sad to see him not getting results in the past. I hope he wins more and more.
AMAZING performance. Dessouky appears to have become incredibly patient and calm the last 2 tournaments.

In my opinion, Fares will be the No, 1 very very soon if he keeps this level of play, and he will be No, 1 for a considerabl amount of time.

Fares career & personality was massively influenced by his knee injury few years ago, he stayed circa one year away of squash arena, he was premature & weak-mentally before his injury...he became mature, mentally-strong & so composed following his come-back from injury...his knee injury learnt him a lot....it was a milestone in his career.......in short, there are 2 Fares: pre-injury & post-injury...well-done Fares

내가 처음 데수키를 봤을땐 공격이 지금보다 훨씬 날카롭고 빈도수도 높았다. 그래서인지 수비에서 다소 약한 모습을 보이거나 기본적인 랠리의 퀄리티가 낮은 모습을 보였는데,

Fares changed the game style in this semi final, He outclassed Momen with different style of game. He was not playing his natural game, going for kills, full force in every short, rather he lobbed every short to let Momen make mistakes...

3:29 That is obnoxious. The timing of it. Fares is becoming a master at mental games.
I'm feeling for Momen.. his game has become slightly two dimensional. In part because he is sticking with his current (last 24 months) game plan of wearing out his opponents with some super accurate drops from mid court and tight lines but becoming predictable in the process. Dezzys hard hitting took that option away from him and really left him wanting. He looks like he is putting himself under too much pressure to win and his frustrations at only getting to SF's are holding his squash back. He's clearly not enjoying it out there at the moment. He hardly lifted to get himself out of trouble/ keep Dezzy on the move but really needed to change the pace to keep him guessing and get himself back ontto the front foot A boast from between the legs maybe....? He's got these big teeth and big claws but can't kill the bunny.. !!! Kill the bunny Tarek..!
