no matter who wins, just amazing skill from Karim in all parts of the court

Mens shot of the year ❌
Gawad shot of the year ✅😅
#7 Gawad's counter drop, no doubt. Best flatliner: Nikki Muller
#19 Hesham! So mean and hard to see as well.
#16 - James Willstrop. The skill to set this up with the windmill and then finish it off with a volley drop into the nick off a 3 wall boast is next level.
Yeah, the skill timing required to volley it after it hits the side wall in that scenario is incredible. Especially when you consider how accurate the outcome was too. All of this on top of the fact that he set it up with the windmill which he did effortlessly too. When most players (even top players) do a windmill it looks forced, rushed and uncomfortable, but when James does it here he looks as comfortable as he would playing a regular straight drive.
Something about Tom Richards back hand roller I can’t stop watching!!
Agree with that. I also love Tamimi's reaction, it's like his mind just froze.
He was a game ball down as well, just makes it that much more crazy!
#4 - Abdullah Al Tamimi got to be
All shots were amazing, but I’ll go with Rodriguez #15 or Muller #9. To be able to dive, and hit a winner is absolutely outrageous! Muller’s shot was very unpredictable and a winner behind the back in the nick is always goo to watch! All of Gawad and Willstrop’s shots were not far off!
I thought this was ‘Karim’s Shots of the Year’ for a minute there
Momen’s shot was perfectly invisible and you can’t deny it
#6 - Tom Richards. A drop like this on game ball! Can't stop watching, I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing drop. You can tell by the crowds reaction how amazing it was.
El Shorbagy, each time a great shot has been played against him, he applauds. Gotta love the guy.
3:37, look at the crowd reactions😂, wish every crowd could be like this.
#19 Hesham - My Favorit
PSA Squash, love the content, did you used to number the shots? It does make it easier to talk about them in the comments rather than having to count them ourselves, anyway maybe that’s just me keep up the great work!
#11 - Gregoire Marche
Gawad appears the most in these types of videos 😁
Lots of amazingly skilled shots, very difficult to choose. I'll go for #15 Rodriguez because it's something very different.
Hesham for me. When you watch a PSA video, it's pretty easy to know where the shot is gonna go, as you are behind the player. Hesham is the only one who confuses me : "Well, I didn't see that coming !".
#6 - Tom Richards
Willstrop #16
#2 #14 or #19 for me
Momen and Hesham back hand shots both top drawer.
Hesham’s shot is on a whole other level than the others.
last one by hesham is a screamer but also the tricky drop by Gawad ... momen's taxi is beautiful too ... in fact there should be a whole section on momen, ghosul and gawads relentless but still incredibly precise bombardment of the front
#9 Mueller @PSA SQUASHTV, you can add hiperlink to exact moment to yours #'s in the description
Fantastic selection.
Top 3 for me are 3rd place ...Gawad's top spin drop into the straight nick.
Wilstrop's volley drop after the double fake in 2nd but 1st for me is Wilstrop's " taxi for Momen ".
Keep up the great work!
Hesham and Asal
so many gawad, but I vote last one #19 Hesham
How do you pick out of all those amazing shots! Has to be Willstrop's volley dropshot for me followed by Hesham in second
#8 Karim Abdel Gawad, the skill needed is just too much
#19 Mazen Hesham
6 for the win
#19 Hesham
Dessouki?!!! Seriously?!
#8 no doubt
Mueller no question
Tamimi, just for the sake of creativity. Now, when it comes to Pancake of the Year, we all know its "No-Rival Asal".
#squash is life
#9
#5 gawad what class.
Richards.
❤
Maybe it's just me but the Tamimi shot looks like it would've been retrieved by almost any player other than Tom Richards. Richards is 1 of the slowest players on tour and he almost reached the ball. It was flashy, and it worked this time, but I wouldn't put it in shot of the year contender. Best has to be Mueller in my book
Richards is pretty speedy
@@phinbillington1342 I wouldn't say he's faster than virtually anybody on tour except maybe Mosaad but he has the excuse of being 6'4 so he makes up for it with reach.
Tamimi or Gawad (n°2)
I think Willstrop's volley drop off the boast. I feel like Shot of the Year should be 12 candidates - the shot of the month winners!
Been a bit of a weird year - we certainly don't have one winner for each month, given the big break in play - so we just put all our favourites in there and let you decide!
@@squashtv that's totally a fair point. This is just a LOT of shots! I'm (reluctantly) standing by my choice though!
I don't think the shot individually was a shot of the year, but the setup of the trickle boast from the back and fake from the front, followed by the super clean volley drop could take the cake for "best played point of the year"
Is this a reupload?
No?
Gawad crazy counter drop against coll. It doesnt make any sense for a racquet to take that path. Racquet deceleration cross court fake inside out topspin? I dont even know
3 minutes in the video and that drop shot from Gawad.. the rest didn't matter after
Rodriguez definitely
Don't want to see him. Even want to mention his name. Goodbye
#8 no doubt
#19 Hesham
